New Area and Story Telling Quests
More story of Bamboo town, where players are summoned to after the tutorial and intro play at G-Star 2010, new villages called the Dead’s Forest, and many quests were open to play.
 
The quests available at G-Star 2010 were rather tutorial, but the latest version allows the player to experience both main quests that follows main stream of the Blade and Soul story and sub quests for local story. It was easy to distinguish which NPC gives which quests because they are colored in yellow for main quests and in blue for sub quests.
 
Unveiled Treasure and Enhancement System
One of the most epic features of Blade and Soul is the item. There are indeed stats on weapons just like other MMORPGS but not on armors. This is totally different notion from ordinary RPGS.
 
Clothes are literally clothing, players just pick what they like to wear. They are only beautiful costumes for showing off.
 
The treasure system is born to replace the stats system of clothing. The treasure system is based on the Eight Trigrams for divination in Korea. It is consisted of 8 pieces of sky, swamp, fire, thunder, wind, water, mountain, and ground. Each piece can hold unique stats such as agility, defense, attack power, critical attack, and so on. It is also graded in normal and epic. There are even treasure sets just like armor sets in other MMORPGS. You can also craft it by composing number of treasures not in need.
 
The enhancement system of Blade & Soul is embedding magic stones into the slots of a weapon. The number of available slots of a weapon is different according to the grade of the weapon. The magic stone is also grouped in block, defense, parry, attack, and so on and is more powerful in proportion of its size.
 
The sub stats are given differently by the prefix of the weapon’s name. If a normal ‘copper blade’ simply has attack stats, ‘agile copper blade’ will have bonus stats like agility. There are critical, accurate, and so on as the prefix.
