He said that "I rarely die when I play my Spear Lann but I still get hit more often then I like.  Getting hit = bad.I read on another forum where a guy was describing the Sword and Spear Lanns on the Korean Vindictus and he was telling a story about a Spear Lann he encountered who was better then any Sword Lann he ever saw.  It's entirely up to the skill of the player. I ended up crafting a new blade and +5ed it to test out being a Sword Lann once again.  I wasn't that great at it but I still had no problem taking down any boss I went up against and I got hit a lot less using my dashes.  I think I'll continue to practice with a Sword to increase my skills with it, either way becoming a better Sword player will ultimately make me a better Spear player as well. Why I think there are so many bad Spear Lanns is the 3960 simply makes people lazy, why attempt to dodge when you can just take a little damage and spin away.
I like the hybrid thought, going to keep both my weapons for situational needs as I see being Spear being superior for those fast Tyrant runs.
