Arknights Endfield Reroll Guide – Best Characters to Aim For

Looking for a good start in Arknights Endfield? This Arknights Endfield reroll guide shows you everything you need to know about rerolling and which operators to target.

If you've played other gacha games before, you're probably already familiar with rerolling. It basically lets players restart if their early pulls on their previous accounts did not satisfy them. Doing so can secure strong Operators early on and make the start much smoother, though it can be time-consuming and repetitive. With that in mind, here’s a guide on how to reroll efficiently and which Operators to aim for in Arknights Endfield.

How Rerolling Works in Arknights Endfield

Rerolling is pretty much a staple in gacha games, where players keep restarting their account just to try and land better starting characters or units from early pulls. The idea revolves around creating a new account over and over again until something more desirable shows up, instead of sticking with whatever the first account gives.

For Arknights Endfield, the concept stays. Here's how to reroll your account in Arknights Endfield.

  • Step 1: Create and sign in using your Arknights Endfield Account
  • Step 2: Follow and continue through the main questline (Valley Reboot). Note that this involves a boss fight.
  • Step 3: Play until you reach the gacha system (Headhunting banners)
  • Step 4: Claim all mails, beginner, sign-in, and event rewards (20 Basic HH Permits, ~10 Limited Banner Permits, ~2,000 Oroberyls)
  • Step 5: Pull on Standard and Limited banners
  • Step 6: Decide whether to keep this account or reroll. If it's the latter, sign out and repeat Step 1.

Due to the low drop rates of top-tier units, rerolling may take multiple attempts before getting your desired character.

Reroll Tips to Save Time
- Skip all cutscenes and dialogue
- Use salted emails if possible
- Focus only on Limited Banner pulls first

Note that rerolling requires creating multiple email accounts. Unfortunately, you cannot make a guest account that you can just delete anytime.

Depending on how fast you can run, or skip the entirety of the prologue/tutorial quest, you can finish the entire rerolling process within 30 to 45 minutes. It is an exhausting and tedious process but considering the potential upside of starting your account with your favorite or meta Arknights Endfield character just makes the grind worth the effort.

Should you reroll in Arknights Endfield?

Rerolling in Arknights is completely optional, and is not a mandatory part of the game. However, it has its own share of upsides and downsides that could make you do it, or shy away from it.

ProsCons
Higher chance of getting meta or limited units earlyNo guarantee of getting what’s “best” even after many tries
Saves in-game currency that would’ve been spent pulling laterTime spent rerolling could’ve been used progressing
Can lead to burnout before real gameplay begins

Rerolling is only recommended if you are aiming for top-tier meta units or planning to play competitively.

For gacha games, you'd be surprised at how common rerolling is. In most cases, the gacha system will guarantee at least one character of the highest rarity, whether it be from the standard or limited banner. There are multiple premium characters you can get, but of course, they're not created equal. Some characters are meant to overshadow the rest either through strength, viability, animations, or character design. This makes the rerolling process look more appealing.

After pulling on any banner, you can decide whether the account is worth sticking with. Let's say you get the worst character in the Standard Banner or get them way too late. You can simply sign out, move to another account, and repeat the entire process until you find the right account for you.

But of course, there's a reason why some players don't do it. Besides the fact that some players just want to progress naturally, the whole rerolling process is extremely time-consuming. One reroll can take up nearly an hour of your time, and if you don't get your desired character the second or third time around, you could end up spending so much time rerolling that could've been used to gather more pulls or progress through quests.

Best characters to reroll for in Arknights Endfield

As a beginner aiming to reroll as quickly as possible, it’s best to pull on the Standard Banner. So with that in mind, here’s a list of characters you can obtain, ranked based on their meta strength and overall viability.

Quick Reroll Targets

S Tier (Best Start): Pogranichnik, Last Rite
A Tier (Good Start): Lifeng
Skip: Ardelia (free), Ember

These rankings are based on early-game impact, team flexibility, and long-term value.

Your three best options here are Pogranichnik, Last Rite and Ardelia.

  • Pogranichnik: If you need a sub-DPS and buffer for Physical teams
  • Last Rite: If you need a great Cryo DPS as a beginner, or if you're a fan of her character design
  • Ardelia: If you're pulling for Potentials
  • Lifeng: If you want a sub-DPS for Physical teams
  • Ember: If you want a shielder or tank for your team

Pogranichnik

If you want a sub-DPS, buffer and one that can cast crowd controls for Physical teams, Pogranichnik is for you. Thanks to his SP recovery, personal damage and buff via Breach, he's easily the best pick here.

Last Rite

Last Rite is a Cryo Great Sword character and a Cryo DPS. She deals huge burst damage, is SP-efficient and synergizes with many F2P units such as Xaihi, Fluorite and Perlica.

Ardelia

Ardelia has to be one of the best and most versatile supports in Arknights Endfield. She can function in Physical, Cryo, Heat, and more teams as a viable support and healer. But why did we give her only two stars?

This is because Ardelia and her signature weapon can be claimed for free. You can get Ardelia by logging in on the third day. So, unless you're aiming to get her to P1 or higher potentials, just pull or reroll for other units.

Lifeng

Lifeng is a Physical damage dealer that also doubles as a support for Physical teams due to his ability to apply Vulnerable and Physical Susceptibility. A decent option in the standard banner, but not really worth rerolling for.

Ember

Ember functions as a shielder or healer of the team, and can work in Physical teams due to her ability to apply Vulnerable. Like Lifeng, she's a great unit to have but meta-wise, she's behind other options.

Conclusions

This ends our Arknights Endfield reroll guide! Although it can be very time-consuming, rerolling has great advantages for competitive players who want to gain an early upper hand without needing to stick with units they don't want. That said, rerolling is completely optional, especially since Arknights Endfield offers a bunch of good characters, including 5-star and 4-star ones. Now, whether you wish to reroll or not, you can always prepare for upcoming banners by stocking up on pulls or through a smart Arknights Endfield top-up!
