The Arknights Endfield Survival Training Event has officially launched in Version 1.1, offering eight unique tactical challenges to help you farm essential pull currency. Our guide breaks down every stage strategy and community bomb UI concern to help you claim all 1,600 Oroberyls before the April 30 deadline.
What is the Arknights Endfield Survival Training Event?
The Survival Training Event in Arknights Endfield is a limited-time challenge where Endministrators must complete eight tactical stages, each featuring special environmental mechanics. Hosted by Instructor Klara at the Hub Base in Valley IV, the event tasks players with everything from avoiding venomous puddles to utilizing industrial explosives against hordes of enemies.
The event follows a staggered release schedule. The first two stages were available at launch on April 9, 2026, with a new stage unlocking daily until all eight were accessible, complete challenge stages to claim corresponding rewards. If you are finding that your current squad is underleveled for these lessons, or if you want to skip the initial grind to access these rewards immediately, you can check out the Arknights Endfield Accounts available at the U7BUY official website to secure a high-level roster.

Survival Training Stage Guides: Lessons 1 to 4

The first half of the training focuses on basic environmental hazards and the effective use of ranged combat.
- Stage 1 - Like Draws Like: This stage introduces Tunneling Nidwyrms and Indigenous Pincerbeasts that leave slowing venom on the ground upon death. It is recommended to use ranged Operators like Yvonne or Wulfgard to avoid the puddles. You can also use Gilberta’s Battle Skill to gather enemies in one spot, concentrating the venom and keeping the rest of the battlefield safe.
- Stage 2 - Explosion Practice: Here, you must use Industrial Explosives to protect supplies from Bonekrusher enemies. The key is targeting Firemist Originium Slugs; when killed, they pull in nearby enemies, allowing your bombs to hit a larger group.
- Stage 3 - Outlast the Bugs: Players must stop Acid Originium Slugs from reaching a floating Originium cluster. If they reach the center, they trigger a massive explosion. You can perform a Perfect Dodge to avoid damage, though your teammates will still take a hit.
- Stage 4 - Coordinated Demolishing: This stage combines the mechanics of the previous lessons. Ideally, you should kill an Indigenous Pincerbeast near a Firemist Originium Slug to pull all nearby enemies into the Pincerbeast's continuous AoE damage.
Advanced Survival Training Strategies: Lessons 5 to 8

The final four stages introduce more complex boss interactions and double-threat scenarios.
- Stage 5 - Bad Neighbor: You must position yourself so the Axe Armorbeast rams and applies Staggered on the Acid Originium Slugs. This is the most efficient way to break their shields.
- Stage 6 - Castle Doctrine: Enemy waves spawn from opposite directions (left and right). When Bonekrusher Ballistas appear, time your bomb throw during their red-ring attack indicator to stun them and cancel the fire.
- Stage 7 - Feral Gall: This is a duel against an Axe Armorbeast that is immune to damage while its shield is up. You must hide behind rocks to increase its Stagger gauge massively when it rams them.
- Stage 8 - Final Assessment: The "final exam" features two Armorbeasts and shielded slugs. Remain close to the slugs to bait the beasts into removing their shields. You must speak to Klara again specifically to unlock this final challenge.
If you find yourself running out of Sanity while practicing these boss maneuvers, a quick Arknights Endfield Top Up is the fastest way to secure the materials needed for extra attempts. Player Community Feedback: Why the Bomb UI is Controversial
While the community appreciates the "extra pulls," the Arknights Endfield Survival Training Event has received polarized reviews on Reddit and social media.
- The "Babymode" Problem: Many players have noted that the enemies are far too weak, with level 15 foes being "one shot" by basic attacks from level 80+ squads. Some have labeled the event a "glorified tutorial" for toddlers.
- Bomb Interface Issues: The most common technical complaint involves the bomb-throwing stages. Players "despise" having to open a secondary screen to select bombs, describing it as "dumb game design" that breaks the flow of combat.
- Mobile vs. Console: Some players have found the bomb stages so difficult to manage on the PS5 that they have resorted to switching to mobile just to complete the "Feral Gall" assessments.
- Staggered Release: There is significant frustration regarding the "slow" daily release of stages, with players wishing they could simply grind out all the pulls at once.

Mandatory Grind for Rewards

Arknights Endfield Survival Training Event will be a defining feature of Version 1.1 and provides not only some challenging but rewarding combat scenarios, as well as some puzzling environmental obstacles to overcome. Although the "spamming bombs" approach may seem awkward while playing on certain platforms, with 1,600 Oroberyls and the unique Expert Survivor Portrait, there is no choice but to do it. Be sure to master the rock-luring tactics of Stage 7 and finish the Final Assessment before the event concludes on April 30. For those looking to secure even more resources, a quick Top Up Arknights Endfield is your best bet for the current patch cycle.
