Clash Royale Arena 6 Decks: Push Builds and Counters

If you are searching for Clash Royale Arena 6 decks, choose the win condition that matches your collection and how you lose. Use Hog Cycle for cheap repeat pressure, Hog Rider plus Goblin Barrel when you want two tower threats, or P.E.K.K.A. counterpush when heavy pushes are the problem. Each list below has exactly eight cards and includes a counter plan, role-based replacements, and an upgrade order.

The current arena reference used here labels Arena 6 as P.E.K.K.A.'s Playhouse, around 1,600–2,000 trophies. The two deck databases do not fully agree on arena names or unlock labels, and their win-rate samples are not a direct test of your Trophy Road matches. Check the label in your current Trophy Road and confirm every card in your Collection before queueing.

Clash Royale arena battle with towers, bridge lanes, and deployed troops

Start with the counter problem, then lock a route

Use this order when your collection is incomplete: identify the threat that is costing you towers, choose the route whose core card answers that threat, and only then fill the remaining roles. The card list is not the answer by itself; the defensive job is what makes a replacement usable.

Repeated problem First route to test Cards that must stay together Switch or stop condition
A tank or building-targeting push reaches your tower Hog Cycle Mini P.E.K.K.A, Cannon, Musketeer If Mini P.E.K.K.A or Cannon is missing, test the full P.E.K.K.A. route instead of adding a random damage card
Your Hog is answered every time, but you can pressure two lanes Hog + Goblin Barrel Hog Rider, Goblin Barrel, Arrows If either win condition is missing, use Hog Cycle or P.E.K.K.A. counterpush; do not keep a one-threat shell
One large push overwhelms every cheap defense P.E.K.K.A. counterpush P.E.K.K.A., Witch or Baby Dragon, a swarm-control card If seven-Elixir defense leaves you unable to respond, return to a lower-cost route

If the card gap is the reason you cannot test any route, the Clash Royale account listing checklist can help you audit exact card, Arena, Evolution, and screenshot evidence before considering a collection route. It does not replace the deck decision or prove match results.

Build Eight-card list Avg. Elixir Choose it when Main counter job
Hog Cycle Hog Rider, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Musketeer, Skeletons, Electro Spirit, Cannon, Fireball, Zap 2.9 You can defend cheaply and attack again before the opponent rebuilds Cannon pulls; Mini P.E.K.K.A deletes tanks; Musketeer covers air
Hog + Goblin Barrel Hog Rider, Goblin Barrel, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Valkyrie, Wizard, Witch, Skeleton Army, Arrows 3.9 You want two tower threats and stronger swarm control Arrows protects Barrel; Valkyrie, Witch, and Wizard clear ground swarms
P.E.K.K.A. counterpush Goblin Barrel, P.E.K.K.A., Mini P.E.K.K.A, Witch, Barbarians, Baby Dragon, Guards, Skeleton Army 4.3 Your best games start with a clean defense against a large push P.E.K.K.A. stops the main tank; Baby Dragon and Witch support the counter

The first list is the default starting point if most of its cards are owned and similarly leveled. The second is a pressure deck, not a faster Hog Cycle: it trades low Elixir for a second win condition and more splash support. The third is the heaviest option; it should counterpush after defending, not spend P.E.K.K.A. at the bridge as an opening move.

The July 2026 RoyaleTracker Arena 6 page is the source for the three exact lists and their displayed average Elixir in this guide. CR Deck Builder's March 29, 2026 dataset is used only for the 18-deck sample, its 3.2 average cost, and the limitation that its rates come from high-level Path of Legend and Trophy Road data rather than only this trophy range. Treat those rates as a benchmark, not a personal win-rate promise.

Build 1: Hog Cycle for the lowest-cost push route

Deck: Hog Rider, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Musketeer, Skeletons, Electro Spirit, Cannon, Fireball, Zap. The Elixir costs are 4, 4, 4, 1, 1, 3, 4, and 2, totaling 23 for a calculated 2.9 average.

Hog Rider is the only primary tower attacker. Cannon gives you a central pull against ground threats, Mini P.E.K.K.A. handles a tank or high-health attacker, and Musketeer is the reliable ranged answer when the opponent sends air support. Skeletons and Electro Spirit are cycle and distraction cards; do not treat them as a full defense on their own.

Hog Cycle match plan

  1. Use the first rotations to identify the opponent's building, small spell, and main tank before committing to repeated Hog attacks.
  2. Send Hog when their building or cheap answer is out of rotation, or when a surviving Musketeer can force a second response.
  3. Place Cannon centrally to pull a building-targeting unit. Keep Mini P.E.K.K.A. for the threat that actually reaches your tower, rather than dropping it automatically at the bridge.
  4. Use Fireball for a meaningful troop-plus-tower exchange or a support cluster. Zap is the cheaper reset and cycle tool; do not spend both spells before you know the opponent's swarm answer.

Hog Cycle counters and replacements

Problem or missing card Replacement to test What changes
Large tank reaches the tower Mini P.E.K.K.A. plus Cannon Pull first, then spend the damage card; do not surround a splash unit with Skeletons
Air support behind a push Musketeer Keep her separated from Fireball-value targets and protect her with a cheap distraction
Missing Mini P.E.K.K.A. Valkyrie Better ground splash, weaker single-target burst; stop calling the deck a tank counter until tested
Missing Electro Spirit Fire Spirit Similar cheap cycle/splash role, but different timing and targeting
Missing Hog Rider Switch to Build 3 if P.E.K.K.A. is owned Giant-style substitutions do not preserve Hog's building-targeting pressure

Build 2: Hog Rider plus Goblin Barrel for split pressure

Deck: Hog Rider, Goblin Barrel, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Valkyrie, Wizard, Witch, Skeleton Army, Arrows. The costs are 4, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 3, and 3, totaling 31 for a calculated 3.9 average.

This deck asks the opponent to answer two different tower threats. Hog Rider creates direct pressure while Goblin Barrel tests whether their small spell is ready. Valkyrie and Skeleton Army cover different ground-defense jobs, while Wizard and Witch give you area damage for pushes that contain multiple small units. The cost is slower cycling, so a missed Arrows or an early Witch can leave you unable to defend.

Split-pressure match plan

  • Do not send Hog and Barrel together every time. First learn whether the opponent's best answer is a building, a small spell, or a swarm.
  • Use Barrel after their reliable small spell is committed, or place it in a different tower lane when their defense is tied up by Hog.
  • Keep Arrows for Skeleton Army, Goblins, or another swarm that would erase your Barrel or surround Mini P.E.K.K.A.
  • Let a surviving Witch or Wizard support the next attack; do not add every expensive card behind one lane just because you have Elixir.

Split-pressure counters

Opponent's answer Your response Do not do this
One building stops Hog Use Barrel to make them spend a second answer, then cycle Hog after the building is out of hand Feed Hog into the same building repeatedly
Small spell clears Barrel Hold Barrel until the spell is shown, then switch lanes or pressure with Hog Assume every Barrel must be a tower hit
Tank plus swarm Mini P.E.K.K.A. on the tank, then Valkyrie or Arrows on the swarm Spend Skeleton Army into a known splash attacker
Air-heavy push Wizard or Witch behind a tower-safe defense, with Arrows for the swarm layer Stack Witch and Wizard where one spell gets both

Hog + Goblin Barrel replacements by role

Missing card Replacement to test What changes When to abandon Build 2
Goblin Barrel Fireball Removes the second direct tower threat; this becomes a Hog deck with heavier spell value If Hog is also being hard-countered, switch to Build 1 or Build 3
Hog Rider Giant Changes direct building-targeting pressure into a tank route; keep the rest of the list only as a temporary test If Giant is also missing, abandon Build 2 rather than leaving a one-threat shell
Witch Baby Dragon Keeps splash support but changes air/ground timing and removes skeleton spawning If the remaining support cannot protect Barrel from swarms, stop forcing the route
Wizard Musketeer Improves ranged air coverage but gives up some ground splash If swarm defense is the repeated loss, use Build 1's cheaper cycle or restore a splash card
Arrows Zap Cheaper reset/cycle, but less reliable against a full swarm around Barrel If Skeleton Army or similar swarm repeatedly erases Barrel, return to Arrows or switch route

Build 3: P.E.K.K.A. counterpush for heavy defense

Deck: Goblin Barrel, P.E.K.K.A., Mini P.E.K.K.A, Witch, Barbarians, Baby Dragon, Guards, Skeleton Army. The costs are 3, 7, 4, 5, 5, 4, 3, and 3, totaling 34 for a calculated 4.3 average.

P.E.K.K.A. is the defensive anchor, not an automatic first play. Use her to remove the main high-health threat, then add a surviving Witch, Baby Dragon, or other support unit before turning the defense into a counterpush. Goblin Barrel gives you a cheaper source of chip pressure while P.E.K.K.A. is walking up the lane.

P.E.K.K.A. counterpush plan

  1. Start with a low-commitment card when possible and keep enough Elixir to answer the opponent's first push.
  2. Place P.E.K.K.A. where she can meet the main threat. Avoid using her at the bridge unless you have already identified the opponent's punish options.
  3. Add Baby Dragon or Witch only after the defensive exchange leaves a support unit alive. Keep the two support cards apart when a spell can hit both.
  4. Use Guards or Skeleton Army to buy time, not as the only answer to a known splash unit. Barrel can pressure the other lane while the counterpush develops.

This is the right route when your losses come from overrun defenses and your collection supports the heavier cards. It is the wrong route if your cards are several levels behind and you cannot defend while waiting for seven Elixir.

Upgrade order and the Arena 6 counter map

Upgrade around one complete plan instead of spreading Gold across all three decks. The order below protects the cards that determine whether each route can complete its job.

Priority Hog Cycle Hog + Barrel P.E.K.K.A. counterpush Why it matters
1 Hog Rider Hog Rider or Goblin Barrel P.E.K.K.A. Primary tower pressure or defensive anchor
2 Musketeer Valkyrie Witch or Baby Dragon Main air, splash, or support coverage
3 Mini P.E.K.K.A. Mini P.E.K.K.A. Mini P.E.K.K.A. High-damage answer to medium and heavy threats
4 Cannon Wizard Guards or Barbarians Keeps the core defense from collapsing
5 Fireball Arrows Goblin Barrel Spell interactions and pressure conversion

Use the following counter map during deck selection: tank → P.E.K.K.A. or Mini P.E.K.K.A.; swarm → Valkyrie, Witch, Wizard, Baby Dragon, or Arrows; air support → Musketeer, Wizard, Witch, or Baby Dragon; building against Hog → spend a cheap cycle card only when it returns Hog to your hand, then attack after the building has been used or pulled out of the opponent's rotation. If the building is still available and you cannot force a second response, defend and cycle rather than sending another unsupported Hog. These are role matches, not guarantees against every level or placement.

Each visible list in this guide contains eight cards; the exact lists and Elixir values are attributed above to RoyaleTracker. Supercell's current Cards & Decks guidance supports the separate Evolution, Hero, and Wild Slot rules, deck management, and the fact that card levels affect unit health and damage. A coherent deck with one underleveled card can still be preferable to three unrelated high-level experiments. The 2026 progression changes also make old King's Journey and XP upgrade charts unreliable; check the current client before spending resources.

When to switch, wait, or stop

Signal Action
You own Hog Rider, Cannon, Musketeer, and most of Build 1 at close levels Start with Hog Cycle and practice one defensive rotation before changing cards
Your best cards are P.E.K.K.A., Witch, Baby Dragon, and Guards Use Build 3; accept slower matches and defend before counterattacking
You lack one core win condition Switch to a full build with a win condition you own; do not replace Hog or P.E.K.K.A. with any high-damage card
Your deck loses to one repeated threat Replace by role, then test the change for several matches; do not change four cards after one loss
A balance or progression update changes a core card Recheck the live card screen and current deck data before calling the list “best”
The collection gap is the only reason you are considering an account Audit the listing's exact card, Arena, Evolution, and screenshot fields first; do not buy for one unverified deck claim

If missing cards are the actual bottleneck, use the Clash Royale account listing checklist to verify the collection evidence and delivery details. That is a separate account audit, not proof that a listing will win matches. If your goal is only to unlock one Arena 6 deck, waiting for cards through normal progression may be the lower-commitment route.

The Arena 6 name and trophy range were checked on July 27, 2026 against RoyaleTracker's Arena 6 reference. The exact three lists and displayed Elixir values come from that page; CR Deck Builder's Arena 6 dataset is used for the separate 18-deck sample, March update date, and high-level-data limitation. Deck-slot and card-level rules were checked against Supercell's Cards & Decks guidance. Because the third-party sources disagree on some labels and their samples are not a direct Arena 6 ladder test, this page recommends roles and counter patterns rather than claiming a permanent meta ranking.

FAQ

What is the best Clash Royale Arena 6 deck?

There is no permanent universal best deck. Choose Hog Cycle if you want the lowest-cost repeat pressure and own its defensive core. Choose Hog plus Goblin Barrel if you want split pressure and have reliable swarm control. Choose P.E.K.K.A. counterpush if heavy defenses are your strength and you can afford the slower rotation.

What arena is Arena 6 in Clash Royale?

The current reference used for this guide labels it P.E.K.K.A.'s Playhouse, around 1,600–2,000 trophies. Third-party deck databases disagree on some arena names and card-unlock labels, so use the Trophy Road and Collection screens in your current client as the final check.

How many cards should an Arena 6 deck have?

Eight cards for a Trophy Road Battle Deck. The Evolution, Hero, and Wild Slots are separate rules for special card forms; they do not turn the list above into more than eight base cards.

Should I replace a missing Hog Rider with P.E.K.K.A.?

Not inside the same cycle list. Hog Rider is the low-cost building-targeting pressure card, while P.E.K.K.A. is a heavy defensive anchor. If Hog is missing, move to a complete P.E.K.K.A. counterpush plan instead of mixing one card into an otherwise low-cost deck.

Why does my Arena 6 deck lose even when the card list looks right?

Check three things in order: whether your core cards are close in level, whether your deck has a clear answer to tanks and air, and whether you are spending the win condition before the opponent's counter is out of rotation. If the same problem repeats, change one role card and keep the rest of the plan stable.
