Genshin Luna IV is nearing its end, and bit by bit, we’re getting closer to Luna V. Although we’re still days away from the upcoming version 6.4, there’s already a lot of information we know. Varka, the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, is finally joining the roster as a playable character, while the rest remains under wraps. That changes now, as the Genshin Impact Luna V Special Program has revealed everything. Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming Genshin Impact Luna V banners, events, and livestream codes.

When is the Genshin Impact 6.4 release date?
Genshin Impact Luna V, or Version 6.4, is expected to go live on February 25, 2026. As usual, a maintenance period will take place before the update rolls out. However, players can pre-install the patch the night before to hop back into the game faster once servers are up.
All Genshin Impact Luna V Limited Banners
Genshin Impact Luna V has two phases, with each half bringing its own set of character and weapon banners. For this patch specifically, only one new character will be released, and the rest will feature banner reruns.
Phase 1 - Varka release and Flins rerun
In version 6.4, we’re about to revisit the City of Freedom as the Windblume event goes live again.

Of course, it only makes sense that Varka, a Mondstadt character, is becoming the star of the update. Varka is a 5-star Anemo Claymore DPS who mainly functions as an on-field main DPS. He wields two claymores, one dealing Anemo damage and the other infused with another PHEC element. His bread and butter is his elemental skill, which allows him to slash and swing his sword at enemies, while the rest of the team applies their respective elements, amplifying his damage.
| Varka Signature Weapon | Effect |
![]() Gest of the Mighty Wolf | Increase ATK SPD by 10%. Every time the equipping character's Normal Attack(s) hit opponent(s)/casts their Elemental Skill/performs Charged Attack(s), gain 1/2/2 stacks of Four Winds' Hymn respectively: DMG dealt is increased by 7.5% for 4s. Max 4 stacks. This effect can be triggered once every 0.01s. Additionally, when the party has the "Hexerei: Secret Rite" effect, each stack of Four Winds' Hymn will increase the CRIT DMG of the equipping character by 7.5%. |
Meanwhile, Flins, a 5-star Electro Claymore unit, is officially on his first rerun.

He is one of the main DPS units to have appeared since Nod-Krai opened. Like Varka, Flins prefers to stay on-field, dealing Lunarcharged damage mostly from the enhanced or mini version of his elemental burst.
| Flins Signature Weapon | Stats and Effect |
![]() Bloodsoaked Ruins | Mournful Tribute: For 3.5s after using an Elemental Burst, the equipping character's Lunar-Charged DMG dealt to opponents is increased by 36%. Additionally, after triggering a Lunar-Charged reaction, the equipping character will gain Requiem of Ruin: CRIT DMG is increased by 28% for 6s. They will also regain 12 Elemental Energy. Elemental Energy can be restored this way once every 14s. |
Phase 2 - Escoffier and Skirk rerun
For players who barely have enough on-field DPS in their account, this patch is a total godsend.

One of the second-phase banners features Skirk’s rerun. Skirk is a Cryo sword user and an on-field or burst-centric quick-swap Freeze DPS, with a reputation for her swift, snappy attacks and high mobility.
| Skirk Signature Weapon | Stats and Effect |
![]() Azurelight | Whitehill's Bestowal: Within 12s after an Elemental Skill is used, ATK is increased by 24%. During this time, when the equipping character has 0 Energy, ATK will be further increased by 24%, and CRIT DMG will be increased by 40%. |
Escoffier is getting a rerun as well. If you happen to have a Cryo DPS like Skirk, Ayaka, Wriothesley, or Ganyu, you might want to think twice before skipping her banner.

Escoffier is a 5-star Cryo Polearm unit who serves as a Freeze support and off-field sub-DPS. She’s a versatile support: she heals, deals decent off-field damage, and provides a whopping 55% Cryo and Hydro resistance shred.
| Escoffier Signature Weapon | Effects |
Symphonist of Scents | Seasoned Symphony: ATK is increased by 12%. When the equipping character is off-field, ATK is increased by an additional 12%. After initiating healing, the equipping character and the character(s) they have healed will obtain the "Sweet Echoes" effect, increasing their ATK by 32% for 3s. This effect can be triggered even if the equipping character is off-field. |
