Genshin Impact: Updated Build guide for Ineffa in version 6.3

Genshin Impact: Updated Build guide for Ineffa in version 6.3

This is a rather unexpected character, at least in terms of the story. Did anyone really expect to have an android girl in the cast? Anyway, let’s treat her well. In this guide, we’re going to recommend the best weapons, equipment, and artifacts for a build for Ineffa, the character that joined Genshin Impact in version 5.8 and is returning for Luna IV.

How to Get Ineffa

How to Get Ineffa

The Ineffa banner will be accessible in the current Genshin Impact Update 2.5, which will be released next Wednesday evening, January 14, 2026.

While the banner is available, you can spend Intertwined Fate to make wishes on it. Although there is a very small chance of obtaining a 5-star character, the game guarantees that you will get one every 90 attempts.

If the first five-star character you obtain from the gacha is not Ineffa, the game guarantees that the next 5-star character you obtain from the same banner will be Ineffa.

Once the banner time expires, Ineffa will be unavailable, and we will have to wait for her return in the near future.

Best weapons for Ineffa

Best weapons for Ineffa

Ineffa’s signature weapon is the 5-star Fractured Halo spear (Crit DMG 14.4%). It will be available in the weapon gacha at the same time as the multi-purpose domestic robot banner.

Genshin Top Up

No other spear in the game takes advantage of Ineffa’s abilities like this one. But if you don’t want to or can’t get it, here are some other options that increase your ATK to boost the Electrocharged effect of the entire team, thanks to their passives.

  • Missive Windspear (4★ – ATK 9%) – Great for its ATK%. The EM passive is quite useful, too.
  • Tamayuratei no Ohanashi (4★ – ATK 6.67%) – Another weapon that activates its passive with Elemental Skill. A really good buff for Ineffa’s Rotation.
  • Vortex Vanquisher (5★ – ATK 10.8%) – The stacking effect is really useful. The ATK increase when using a shield is a very powerful buff for Ineffa’s kit.
  • Calamity Queller (5★ – ATK 3.6%) – An effect that increase ATK% and that can be stacked up to 6 times. We will take two of them. Incredible spear for Ineffa.
  • Engulfing Lightning (5★ – ER 12%) – Shogun´s Raiden BiS is a great weapon for Ineffa, thanks to the increasing in the ATK through the ER (both highly wanted substatus for Ineffa). The additional increase in Energy Recharge after using the Burst is an archon-sent for this character.

As we always say, you don’t have to stick to these recommendations. If you don’t want to or can’t get them, use the best spear you can and adjust the rest of Ineffa’s build, equipment, and artifacts to get the most out of her. Just don’t forget about the necessary upgrade materials.

Best team for Ineffa in Genshin Impact

Ineffa is an off-field support character who, in addition to providing shields, boosts all Electro-charged damage. Following the version necessity for a Lunar Electro team, we can use the Electro character Nod Krai: Flins and accompany him with Columbina

As a healer, we would recommend Kokomi or Shinobu, but we prefer Jahoda because, although her healing is not as consistent, she has the advantage of increasing the Lunar Omen level.

Flins and accompany him with Columbina

If we don’t have Columbina, we need to replace her with another Hydro character, and for that, we have the new Aino. As the last character, we can use a healer or another support… or why not both? We can task Xilonen with healing and reducing enemies’ resistance to Hydro and Electro elements.

healing and reducing enemies' resistance

Our best team for Ineffa in Genshin Impact before the arrival of Columbina and Flins includes Furina, Clorinde, and Xilonen.

Ineffa in Genshin Impact

In this team, Ineffa is in charge of putting up shields and applying Electro, Furina, and Xilonen boost damage, and the latter heals with her Burst when necessary. The DPS is, obviously, Clorinde.

You can alter this team as you wish. Raiden and Keqing can replace Chlorinde. If you leave Ineffa as the sole Electro applicator, you can use Ayato or Neuvillete as DPS, and if you don’t think you’ll need healing, you can use Kazuha, the Anemo Traveler, or Sucrose as element spreaders. The important thing is to have Hydro characters to cause Electrocharged.

An interesting thing is that in version 5.8, the free 4-star greatsword Flame-Forged Insight was added, which is specifically designed to support the Lunar Electro-charged reaction that only Ineffa can generate.

The problem is that we can’t think of a good greatsword character that fits well into the team. Our initial idea is to replace Xilonen with a Dori who has this weapon or use Razor as DA, but we’re not convinced.

What do you think? How can we use that weapon in an Ineffa Electro-charged team? Let us know in the comments.

Best artifact sets for Ineffa

Best artifact sets for Ineffa

Several sets can take advantage of the new character’s features, especially scaling her effect with ATK and enhancing the Electrified effect. The most obvious choice is Thundering Fury. This set can be obtained in the Summer Garden Domain near Starry Cliff in Mondstadt.

Thundering Fury

Another very good option is Gilded Dreams, which can be obtained in the Pratyekabuddha Stupa Domain in Sumeru. However, this depends on the differences in elements that the team has. Read the description carefully to see if it fits the team.

Other good options are Tenacity of the Millelith (four pieces) and sets that increase Ineffa’s ATK. We can even equip her with Resolution of Sojourner and Brave Heart if we don’t have better options at the moment.

Constellations

Constellations

If Ineffa appears multiple times in your Genshin Impact gacha, you will receive Stella Fortuna items. These items increase your constellation level (C0 to C6), enhancing your abilities and allowing you to create a better build in combination with your best equipment, weapons, and artifact sets.

  • C1 is a very powerful upgrade since increases the Lunar Charge DMG for the party when her shields are up.
  • C2 is a good QoL since increases her personal damage and provides shields for allies in co-op.
  • C4, although expensive, eliminates Ineffa´s Energy recharge requirements. Making it possible for her to use her Elemental Burst constantly.
  • C6 makes her a force to be reckoned with, dealing double Electro DMG every time. Of course, this is whale territory. There are better C6s when it comes to buffer and enabler characters.

If you like the character, you can stop easily at C1, since it provides insane value to the team with the buff to the party´s Lunar-Charged DMG.
