Sandrone Talents Explained (Best Rotation & How She Works)
Here's a list of all Genshin Sandrone's talents and abilities, and how they exactly work.
Normal Attack
The most important aspects of Sandrone's Normal Attack kit are her unique Charged Attack and the Decoding Power mechanic.
Charged Attack Playstyle Explained
Sandrone's bread and butter is her Charged Attack. Like Neuvillette, Sandrone uses a Charged Attack that deals continuous Cryo damage. Once the Decoding Power bar is full, this triggers Power Overdrive, where Sandrone "overheats" and deals Cryo damage at longer intervals. She deals less damage this way in the latter state.
She exits Power Overdrive when the bar is reduced by half again, and her power decreases while off-field.
Decoding Power Management Tips
Essentially, Sandrone's playstyle revolves around managing Decoding Power and attempting to lower it in order to allow her to use Charged Attacks for longer periods, either by leaving the field or using elemental skill.
Normal Attack
Normal Attack: Performs up to 3 consecutive strikes using thread-controlled weapon attacks.
Charged Attack: Summons “Fagio” and activates Decoding mode. Fires sweeping Cryo attacks and periodic AoE beam shots. Beams build Decoding Power up to 100, triggering Power Overdrive with Cryo attacks at longer intervals. Exits Overdrive when below 50. Power drains faster when off-field.
Plunging Attack: Dives from midair, damaging enemies along the path and dealing AoE damage on landing.
Elemental Skill
Sandrone's Elemental Skill doubles as an exploration tool and addresses the "Power Overdrive" and "Overheat" issues of her Charged Attack.
Using Sandrone's Elemental Skill reduces Decoding Power. Once it reaches 100 points, Sandrone can use her Elemental Skill to continuously lower the gauge, allowing her to resume using her Charged Attack.
Elemental Skill
Hovermech Ride: Sandrone boards the Tea Party Tactical Assault Hovermech for 6s, freely controlling movement direction while airborne.
High-Speed Sprint: Consumes 10 Stamina to activate boosted hover speed, then drains 15 Stamina per second while sustained.
Prismatic Cannon & Repair: On activation, if enemies are nearby, a Prismatic Resonance Cannon fires 2 Prism Shots (Cryo DMG), with the second converting into Stellar-Conduct Cryo DMG. While riding, Fagio is repaired, reducing Decoding Power by 40 at the start and continuously by 10 every 0.1s.
Elemental Burst
Sandrone's elemental burst allows her to deal AoE Burst Cryo and Stellar-Conduct Cryo damage.
Elemental Burst
Prismatic Resonance Cannon: Sandrone summons multiple Prismatic Resonance Cannons to unleash a frontal bombardment, dealing sustained Cryo DMG to enemies in range.
Convective Inhibition Ray: Fires a powerful AoE Cryo beam that concludes the assault with heavy burst damage.
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: Transforms the Convective Inhibition Ray into Stellar-Conduct Cryo DMG, enhancing its output and impact.
Ultimately, Sandrone functions as a Cryo DPS whose playstyle revolves around Stellar Superconduct reaction and her Charged Attack. Her sustained damage uptime depends entirely on how effectively players can manage her Decoding Power gauge. As a unit that relies on superconduct, she is expected to be played with Cryo and Electro off-field sub-DPS and supports like Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun and Qiqi.
Genshin Impact Sandrone kit - Passive skills
Sandrone also has a set of passive skills that are directly tied to her abilities. Check out all of Sandrone's passive skills.
When in Radiance Stellar-Conduct state, Sandrone's second prism shot deals more damage when the decoding power is over 50. Additionally, Sandrone can increase the damage her elemental burst deals through Refined Tactics stacks.
Archaic Calculation Engine
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct:
When using the Elemental Skill Formule Phenomenale: Differential Analysis, if Fagio's Decoding Power is greater than 50, the second Prism Shot fired by Fagio at nearby opponents will deal 400% of its original DMG as Fagio's Decoding Power is decreased. Additionally, for every 10 points of Decoding Power Fagio loses, it gains 1 stack of Refined Tactics for 60s (max 10 stacks). When Sandrone uses the Elemental Burst Formule Phenomenale: Q.E.D. while in the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state, all stacks of Refined Tactics are cleared, causing the Convective Inhibition Ray to deal (100% + (no. of stacks cleared ×5))% of its original DMG.
This passive allows Sandrone to convert some of her ATK into Elemental Mastery. Gaining this EM buff will cause Sandrone to deal a much higher Stellar-conduct reaction damage.
A Lady's Code of Conduct
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct:
Increases Sandrone's Elemental Mastery based on her ATK. Every 100 ATK will increase her Elemental Mastery by 8. The maximum increase she can gain this way is 160.
Like Lunar reactions, Superconduct (Electro + Cryo) is converted into Stellar-Conduct. The damage scales with her ATK.
Light of Rationalisme
When your party members trigger Superconduct, it will be changed to Stellar-Conduct, and your party members' Base Stellar-Conduct DMG will be increased based on Sandrone's ATK:
Every 100 ATK she has increases the Base Stellar-Conduct DMG by 0.7%. The maximum increase that can be gained this way is 14%.
Additionally, when Sandrone is within a Polestar Field, she will enter the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state.
Meanwhile, this is Sandrone's utility passive.
A Caucus Prelude and a Long Tale
When Sandrone is in the party, you will gain additional snack rewards after turning in your Daily Commissions with Katheryne.

Genshin Impact Sandrone kit - Constellations
Genshin Sandrone has a set of Constellations that provide quality-of-life improvements and enhance either her utility or damage output.
Constellations
C1 — Morrow After the Golden Dusk
In Decoding mode, Fagio gains Decoding Power 50% slower, while all party members deal 30% increased Stellar-Conduct DMG.
C2 — An Heiress Gazed Into the Looking-Glass
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct increases Charged Attack condensed beam DMG by 100% of Sandrone’s ATK. Each beam fired also boosts all condensed beam DMG during the mode by an additional 40% of her ATK per stack, up to 3 stacks.
C3 — Refuse the Wake of Dusk, the Moonlit Yoke
Increases the Level of Formule Phenomenale: Self-Evident Proposition by 3.
C4 — In Knowledge Lies the World's True Ground
When Sandrone deals Stellar-Conduct DMG, she summons an extra Prismatic Resonance Cannon for a coordinated attack dealing Cryo DMG at 125% of her ATK, also counted as Stellar-Conduct DMG. This can trigger once every 4s.
C5 — Of All Beside, She Takes No Part
Increases the Level of Formule Phenomenale: Q.E.D. by 3.
C6 — Narcissus Wakes, Her Eyes Upon the Dawn
When Fagio fires its third condensed beam in Decoding mode, it becomes a Condensed Cluster Beam that continuously fires and adds up to 4 extra instances of AoE Cryo DMG (75% of Sandrone’s ATK) on top of normal beams.
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct changes this to 4 extra AoE Cryo DMG instances at 50% of ATK, treated as Stellar-Conduct DMG. All Stellar-Conduct DMG is also increased by 20%.
Is Sandrone Worth Pulling in Genshin Impact 6.7?
Sandrone is expected to land pretty high on the power scale once she releases in version 6.7.
Based on early kit leaks, her damage revolves around the new Stellar-Superconduct reaction. Historically, whenever Genshin introduces a new reaction system or region-specific mechanic, the characters tied to it tend to land on the stronger side, either through raw multipliers or through powerful synergy with newly released units. This pattern has already been seen in recent regions and team archetypes.
Sandrone seems to follow that same trend. Her kit reportedly allows for consistent AoE damage with strong uptime, especially through her charged attacks, which form the core of her sustained DPS style. When she comes out, Sandrone is also expected to have access to good Electro and Cryo teammates such as Raiden Shogun.
That said, everything is still subject to change, as her kit is based on early leaks and may be adjusted before release. Still, current information suggests Sandrone could end up as a top-tier DPS, potentially staying relevant throughout the Snezhnaya (7.x) era if her mechanics remain intact.
