Event Overview
The Black Buttercup event is just the 2nd phase of the Buttercup event that premiered on January 24, 2026 and introduced a bunch of new currency, seeds and pets. The Black Buttercup event is an expansion of the Buttercup event as it raises the stakes by adding the Black Buttercup and its respective questline. During the event, players can participate in limited time activities that reward exclusive Buttercup currencies that can be used to unlock Black Buttercup seeds and the exclusive shadow buttercup seeds.
Daily quests
Players will be assigned daily quests by an NPC called Brooklyn who can be found in a small, square garden full of Buttercups. The quest majorly involves giving Brooklyn a certain amount of Buttercups for which they are rewarded with Buttercup Coins.

Buttercups are single harvest crops of uncommon rarity that were added in the Safari Harvest Event. They are classified as a Flower type crop which means it can be affected by the Flower Froster Sprinkler. By appearance, it appears to be a normal flower with 3 studded green stem, yellow centre and 4 studs as the petals whose color depend on the buttercup type.
