The Summer Camp event landed in Grow a Garden on June 6, 2026. It replaced the Bizzy Bee event in the center of the map. After grinding it since launch, here is everything worth knowing. This guide covers the campfire mechanic, every crafting recipe, the new pets, the fastest way to farm eggs, and the full Part 2 update.
What is Campfire Event?
This event is small compared to Bizzy Bee or Easter. The developers are likely busy with Grow a Garden 2. Still, it ranks as one of the most rewarding updates we have had in a while. The reason is the pets you can craft.
The whole event runs on one idea. You burn fruits into a central campfire to add Ember. The more Ember you add, the higher the fire tier. Higher tiers unlock better crafting recipes. The fire dies down over time, so you must keep feeding it.

One detail many players miss. Honey plants from the Bizzy Bee event cannot be burned. Also, your Bizzy Bee garden did not disappear. Go to your garden slots and load the honey garden to access it again. The developers finally let us keep old event gardens, which is a fair move.
Campfire Tiers Explained
The fire has five tiers. Tier five is called the Super Fire. Each higher tier needs more Ember but gives a much better crafting speed bonus. Here is the breakdown.
The Ember you earn depends on the plant. Rarer plants give more Ember. But the biggest factor is weight. A 10 kg sugar apple gives around 877 Ember. A 50 kg one jumps to roughly 3,000. So size matters far more than rarity.

The crafting only continues while your fire holds that tier. If the fire drops below tier five, your tier five crafts pause. This is the most annoying part of the event.
The New Pets
The Campfire Egg is the main prize. It hatches in 4 hours and contains four pets. Here are the current odds. If you are still learning how pet abilities work, this Grow a Garden pets guide breaks down the basics.
The Fire Wisp is the one everyone wants. It is a 1 in 200 pull, so it is rare. Its big draw is the new Ember pet mutation. This mutation gives a 32% passive boost and a 32% XP boost. That beats Venom and Ever Enchanted, which both sit at 30%. Right now it is the best pet mutation in the game. To see how the top pets stack up against each other, this Grow a Garden pet tier list is worth a look.
There is one catch with the Fire Wisp. When it applies the Ember mutation to a level 100 pet, it resets that pet to level one if it succeeds, or level 50 if it fails. So do not use it on a pet you spent ages leveling. The Fire Wisp also applies the new Ember crop variant, which players report as a strong value booster for fruit.
The Premium and Rainbow Egg Odds
There is also a paid route. The Premium Campfire Egg sits in the Limited Time Shop. It costs 149 Robux for one, 429 for three, 1,249 for ten, or 4,999 for fifty. The big perk is speed, since it hatches in just 30 seconds instead of 4 hours. Its standard odds sit close to the crafted egg, plus a small chance to roll a Rainbow egg.
Both eggs can also roll into a Rainbow version. The Premium egg has a 1 percent chance for this. The crafted egg sits much rarer, closer to 1 in 500. The Rainbow Premium Campfire Egg is where the odds get generous.
A 5 percent Fire Wisp is ten times the normal rate. So if you are chasing the Ember mutation and do not mind spending Robux, the Rainbow route is the fastest path to it.
Every Crafting Recipe
The recipes spread across the five tiers. Below are the standout items and their costs. All recipes also have a Robux or Trade Token alternative if you want to skip the materials.
The Paradise Egg is back, and it brings the Mimic Octopus and Peacock pets. Both will drop in trade value now that they are obtainable again. So sell early if you plan to flip them. If you would rather skip the grind for resources, you can stock up on Grow a Garden Tokens to speed things up.
A quick tip on the Gold Ingot. You craft it at the normal crafting station, not the campfire. So prepare a stock of ingots before you sit down to craft your tier five eggs. It saves you a frustrating pause mid grind.
The Areaclaimer Is Underrated
The Areaclaimer deserves a special mention. It lets you reclaim every plant inside a radius in one click. If you have hundreds of plants down, this saves a lot of time. The recipe is fairly cheap too. It earns a strong rating, even over some of the seeds.

Best Way to Farm the Event
First, build a coconut platform. Coconuts grow fast, give 20 crops per tree, and have decent rarity. That makes them perfect Ember fuel. Sugar apples, grapes, peppers, and elder strawberries work well too.
Second, server hop. Find a busy public server where players already hold the fire at tier five. You can craft full batches of eggs without adding a single plant yourself. The server does the work for you, which saves your own crops.
Third, stock up on materials before you craft. Use the Bearded Dragon to farm base game eggs. It can hand you hundreds of mythical eggs over time. Use the Magpie method for sprinklers. For mango seeds, place your mangoes down and use the Snail pet to dupe seeds over time. For more pairings like this, this guide on the best pets and plant combos goes deeper.
Fourth, set up a simple macro to AFK. A basic loop that opens the workshop, clicks craft, closes it, then claims finished eggs works fine. On mobile, an auto clicker is your only option, but it still helps overnight.
With a steady server and good materials, you can craft around 30 of each egg per day. Over the event that adds up to hundreds of Campfire and Paradise eggs.
Campfire Part 2 Update: Bearnaby, New Seed Packs, and Six New Plants
The Campfire event got a second wave on June 13, 2026. The developers added a brand new activity, a fresh seed pack, six new plants, and a stack of quality of life fixes. Grow a Garden 2 had launched just a day before, so we did not expect much. This part is small, but the new plants and the Bearnaby grind give returning players a real reason to log back in.
Meet Bearnaby, the New Campfire Activity
Part 1 was all about the central campfire and Ember crafting. Part 2 keeps that fire running and adds a hungry bear next to it. His name is Bearnaby.
The setup feels a lot like the old Angry Plant event with Jim. Bearnaby asks for specific plants, and you submit them for rewards. The twist is that he wants plants that match three conditions at once.
- A specific plant trait
- A specific mutation
- A minimum weight
The requested trait changes every hour. The required mutation and minimum weight also climb as you progress. So early submissions are easy. Later ones force you to dig for the right fruit.
How Bearnaby Quests Work
You fill a progress bar by submitting the plants he asks for. The bar needs 50 plants to finish. Every single submission hands you one Campfire Seed Pack on the spot.
Once you submit all 50, you earn one Exotic Campfire Seed Pack as the final prize. After that, the quest resets and you can run it again. So the grind is repeatable for as long as the event stays live.
One small note from our runs. Hold a stock of fruit with common traits and easy mutations. The early steps go fast that way, and you bank free packs before the weight checks get harsh.
The Campfire Seed Pack and Its Odds
This is the pack you get from each Bearnaby submission. It holds all six new plants across different rarities. Here are the drop rates.
The Mallow Melt is the chase plant here. At 0.5%, it is a 1 in 200 pull and the rarest of the set. Campfire Clover sits next as the Divine option. If you crack open a Mallow Melt, hold it. Prismatic plants almost always hold value once the event closes.
The Exotic Campfire Seed Pack
This is the bigger prize you earn after completing all 50 deliveries. Its odds look close to the standard pack, but it adds one extra slot. That slot is a 1 percent chance for a Rainbow version of the pack.
You can also buy the Exotic pack with Robux if you want to skip the grind. Here are the bundle prices.
Our advice is simple. Grind the free packs through Bearnaby first. Only buy bundles if you are hunting the Rainbow pack or a Prismatic Mallow Melt and the grind feels too slow.
Six New Plants Added in Part 2
All six plants drop from the packs above. None are sold in the normal Seed Shop. The rarities span the full range, from Uncommon up to Prismatic.
If you want the best return, focus on the Divine and Prismatic pulls. Pair them with strong mutations before you sell. A clean Prismatic with a top mutation can move for serious Sheckles.
Quality of Life Changes
Part 2 also shipped several fixes that make daily play smoother. These are easy to miss, so here is the short list.
- The Harvest All button is back. The developers had pulled it earlier over performance issues, but it now appears stable.
- A new inventory inspection mode lets you hover over any item for full details. Toggle it on first.
- A UI size setting now lets you scale the on screen buttons and text.
- Load times when you first enter a garden are now much lower.
- For players holding over 1 quadrillion Sheckles, the flower conversion rate now hides by default. Hover your Sheckles to see it.
The Harvest All return is the standout. If you run a large garden, it saves real time on every cycle.
Best Way to Farm Bearnaby Quests
The Part 1 farming advice still holds, but Bearnaby needs slightly different prep. Here is what worked best for us.
- Stock fruit with varied traits. Bearnaby rotates his request every hour, so a mixed reserve keeps you submitting without waiting.
- Use a mutation pet to keep extra mutated fruit on hand. The higher progress steps demand specific mutations.
- Grow heavy, fast crops for the weight checks. Coconuts and other large tropical plants clear the minimum weight with ease.
- Server hop to busy public servers. The campfire often sits at a high tier already, which saves your own crops for Bearnaby.
- Run the 50 step bar, claim your Exotic pack, then repeat. Each loop banks 50 standard packs plus one Exotic.
Should You Grind Hard?
Here is our honest take. Grow a Garden 2 launched on June 12, 2026, as a separate game. Your progress here will not carry over to it. So there is little point burning out chasing every reward.
That said, the developers clearly are not abandoning the original game. Keeping it updated alongside the sequel is a fair move, and the new plants add genuine collection value. So the smart play is balance. Craft a healthy stack of eggs, grab a Fire Wisp or two, run a few Bearnaby loops for a Campfire Clover or Mallow Melt, and sell your spares while prices stay high.
