How does the Seed Shop Work?

The Seed Shop works on a stock system which means that different crops are available at different times, depending on the stock available, with the exceptions of Carrot, Strawberry, Blueberry, and Tomato which will always be available no matter what. When an item is fully sold out, it becomes red and displays “No Stocks”.

The stock in the main shop is refreshed every 5 minutes and the stock in the Daily Deals shop is refreshed every 24 hours. But despite that, it is very hard to get the rare seeds because they are often sold out as soon as they become available. Why? The Stock on the seed shop is shared globally, which means that the stock you see is also the stock that a person from Africa and America sees. So, its bound to get sold quickly, although, players do have the chance of restocking the shop and skip the timer using 79 Robux.

During the Summer Harvest Event and Mega Summer Harvest Event, Sam’s shop was replaced by Tom’s Shop which had a whole new variety of seeds.

Sam’s Tier 2 Shop

This tier of the shop offers rare seeds that can’t be bought on the standard shop and requires the players to meet specific requirements to be unlocked. Sam’s Tier 2 shop was released in the Fairy + Garden Ascension update on August 30th, 2025 and as of now offers 4 unique and rare seeds.

How to Unlock the Tier 2 Shop

Unlocking the tier 2 of the Seed Shop is similar to the Giant NPC’s Friendship shop. To unlock this tier, you need to build a friendship with the game’s NPC, through a feeding system. Yes, you are going to be cooking and feeding an NPC to unlock this tier. Weird, but not enough.

Step 1 – Unlock the Cooking Kit

The Cooking Kit can be obtained as a reward by completing the common achievements in the Garden Guide Tab. Just head over there and click on the Achievements tab and head to Core Plants.

Step 2 – Cook Food

Yes, cook food. Simply as that. Just don’t forget that the guy’s got an elegant taste so the higher rarity food you feed him, the more friendship points you get.

Step 3 – Feed it to Sam

Now, hold the cooked-up meal in your hand and teleport to the Seed shop before walking up to Sam and pressing the “E” button to interact with him.

Step 4 – Obtain Friendship Points

Feeding Sam will reward you with points based on the rarity of the food you feed to him. The points are divided as follows:

  • Common Rarity – 1
  • Uncommon Rarity – 2
  • Rare Rarity – 3
  • Legendary Rarity – 4
  • Mythical Rarity – 5
  • Divine Rarity – 6
  • Prismatic Rarity – 7
  • Transcendent Rarity – 8

Step 5 – Collect Points till Unlock

You need to get a total of 15 points to unlock tier 2 of the seed shop. Also keep in mind that you can only feed Sam once every 24 hours. Poor guy’s got a small appetite, so lets keep it that way. You can either have the patience and keep grinding for days until you collect all points or just cook higher rarity meals.

What is available in the Tier 2 Shop?

So, what is actually so special with this Tier 2 of the Seed shop? Well, the shop provides you the opportunity to buy 4 special seeds that are very rare. You need Garden Coins – a new currency, to purchase these items and earning them requires you to perform a Garden Ascension before. The Garden Ascension can be done by interacting with the NPC named Orson in the Garden Ascension Stall, which is located in the corner of the map, right next to the Sell Stuff Stall.

The seeds available at Tier 2 and their prices are as follows:

  • Broccoli: This is a Legendary seed which can be bought for 2 Garden Coins or 768 Robux.
  • Potato: This is a Mythical Seed which can be bought with 3 Garden Coins or 839 Robux.
  • Brussels Sprout: It is a Divine Seed which can be bought with 6 Garden Coins or 897 Robux.
  • Cocomango: It is a Prismatic Seed which can be bought with 7 Garden Coins or 939 Robux.

Conclusion

If you are thinking that gathering 15 points was enough to unlock all these seeds, then you are quite wrong. When you first unlock the shop, you will only have Brocolli available, the other seeds will require you to progress through the friendship level, which means that you will be needing 15 more points for the next level. That makes it 15, 30, 45, 60 points for all the 4 Friendship levels and seeds. Now this does require a lot of grinding but the harvest from these seeds make your efforts worthwhile.
