Hello Trailblazers! The official live stream for patch 4.1 just happened. And now that the live stream is done, we finally know all the jades and extra stuff that we're going to get in this upcoming patch.

Let's begin without wasting any more of your time!
Release Date
Starting with some basic info about this patch. Version 4.1 will go live on March 25th for the Asia and Europe servers and on March 24th for the America servers. Unlike usual, this patch will be shortened to make up for all the delays and problems that occurred in patch 3.8, which was extended for two weeks.
Keeping that aside, patch 4.1 is just going to be 4 weeks long with Ashveil banner lasting the full duration of the patch. This means our 4.2 patch duration is going to go up around the same time frame as Honkai Star Rail's anniversary, which is April 26th.
Ashveil Banner

This is going to be Mr. Ashville's debut, a DPS corrector capable of marking the enemy as bait and unleashing high-frequency full attacks. If the current bait is a limited but an enhanced full-up attack, Ashville will seek a new bait to continue the while bait exists on the field, which can also increase allies' Critical Damage and reduce the defense of all enemies.
Now, this particular line here is very interesting. So, the question is, do you guys remember Feixao, right? There is this particular thing about Feixao. If you take a look at her kit, we can see that she has the ability to ignore 54% defense, by the way.

All right, that's 54% Defense Reduction. Thus, our question is essentially how much defense reduction is going to be applied to Mr. Ashveil? Can we get as close to 100% Defense Reduction as possible? And if that is going to be the case, we think he has a very strong capability to be a sub DPS.
This feels like Varka in Genshin Impact, where he has a lot of potential in the future, if he does have a main DPS that can utilize his sub DPS capabilities. But as of right now, the timing of his banner is a bit awkward because it's right in between Sparxie and Yao Guang, both of whom are Elation. As well as Silver Wolf, which is the other half of the elation, right?

Other than that, we're going to have two new Light Cones, but we do not know what their effects are yet.

Events and Gameplay
Basically, just two.

Divergent Universe update, which is actually a pretty interesting choice. Since they essentially underwent the route of adding a deck-building element to it. They have a brand-new deck building element where you can choose the targets and the buffs that you want to create your combos and individual units.
If you guys play Zenless Zone Zero, the agents have unique abilities when you play them in the Hollow Zero; they'll also have different buffs. Therefore, we think that might be something very similar.

Then the second event is basically you get to play as Auto Chess. Wispae War Saga lets you gather your Wispae, summon your armies, and play them against one another to defeat the enemy.

We will also be receiving the traditional login rewards. But there is a catch: players will receive 10 free pulls in a patch that is just going to be 4 weeks long. Therefore, it is a high-value reward given the shorter time duration of the update.
Reruns
Ashville will be available until April 21st, which is the full duration of the patch. But the reruns will last only for 2 weeks.

Hyacine from 03/25 - 04/08

Boothill from 04/08 - 04/21
New Boss

Players can explore the Pong lore stage and IPC island. A powerful new enemy called the Pom Pom King was revealed, though it is unclear if this is the main story boss. The stream was notable for not spoiling the major story boss or its specific animations, keeping the surprise intact for the player base.
It could be that Pom Pom King is Story Boss or just a stand-in for a surprise. Maybe there's one secret enemy somewhere in the new Map, but they didn't show the actual battle. Either that, or there is no story boss.
Recommended Lineups

A new feature will allow players to save and copy the lineups of other players. This is highlighted as a significant benefit for casual players who may not know how to build effective high-difficulty teams themselves. We don't think it's that big of a deal since it's clearly aimed at casuals that don't want to, or rather don't know, or don't want to build their own teams.
That will be everything for this update. Yes, it's a small patch, but there are still plenty of interesting things to look forward to. The good news is that the anniversary update is very close, and we know they are keeping the most amazing surprises for it.
As usual, we invite you to use our HSR Top Up services to make sure you are prepared to pull for the characters you want, and to save your precious resources for the anniversary update, which promises to be huge. Don’t have the lineup you want? Remember that you can acquire through our channels your dream Honkai Star Rail account with all the characters that you want already leveled up.
