Updates to ‘Coverage’
The new Madden NFL 25 Title Update brings quite a few updates to the Coverage system in the game. Some of the biggest improvements come to the ‘Box Call’ coverage, which now has improved logic. This will now Cover 4 Quarters and Cover 4 Palms, which should improve defense passes out of bunch formations.
They’ve also tuned and improved Deep Zone defender-positioning, cushioning, and leverage vs. corner routes.
Besides these changes, they’ve fixed multiple issues that have been plaguing the game for a while now including –
- Deep Zone Madden 25 defenders react inappropriately to pump fakes which can leave receivers open deep
- Press animation issues which caused your players to press the receiver too far up the field
Aside from the above-mentioned improvements and fixes, there are a few more Madden 25 updates but these are the most notable we’ve seen so far.
Franchise Mode Enhancements
Some of the biggest changes in Madden NFL 25’s Title Update 4 has to be in the Franchise mode. Here they’ve fixed several key issues, in particular fixing issues with the in-game ticker displaying wrong game stats, league leader stats not displaying correctly, and player portraits generating incorrectly.
After reviewing the changes, there aren’t any ‘big’ updates to the Madden NFL 25 game mode but it’s more akin to a refinement of the mode to improve the experience which is very welcome for players who enjoy the Franchise gameplay. That said, these are most of the important changes we’ve seen with the Title Update 4 to Madden NFL 25 but there are still plenty of refinements and updates to check out.
