Best Nanally Build Guide: Skills, Arcs, Modules & Teams (NTE 1.0)

Nanally is the first limited S-Rank in NTE launching on April 29, and she is not just a looker on the banner. She can do damage on- and off-field at once, wall-run to places where other characters can't, and her Underboss continues to attack even when she is replaced. If you want a future-proof carry that automates combat while you setup reactions, she is your top priority pull.

This definitive Nanally build guide covers everything such skills, best team, rotation and hard pull suggestion, helping you build the strongest Nanally on day one of the global launch.

Nanally Core Mechanics

Nanally is one of the rare DPS units that stays dangerous even when she is not the active character. Her Underboss coordinates with every hit the team lands and fires additional Anima follow-ups independently,  no inputs needed. Stack that with the Fair Duel passive, which triggers a 60% ATK follow-up every time any teammate deals Esper Cycle DMG, and she is running two damage sources in the background while you play your supports. That kind of passive pressure is what separates her from standard hypercarries.

Nanally Skills Breakdown

Note:The following values are for real machine demonstration.

Neverness to Everness Nanally Build

Basic Attack: Colucci Howling Technique

Colucci’s basic attack is a powerful 5-hit Anima combo. Her momentum cannot be blocked by dodge - you can be aggressive and not get hit!

  • Heavy Hitter! (Charged): Flows into your 1st, 2nd, 3rth and 5th light attacks. This 3-hit combo is best performed when the moment is right!
  • Grand Entrance! (Plunge): Rises up to 200% DMG, depending on how far you fall.
  • The Mobility Edge: Colucci's Authority allows her to walk on walls, enabling grand plunges from places other units can't reach.
  • Critical Riposte: If you dodge and kick, you drastically decrease Break of the enemy before launching into your ultimate

Skill: Colucci Howling Technique

This skill is the engine of your rotation. It deals 5 hits of AoE Anima DMG and activates the Ichi-daime's Authority state for 12 seconds.

  • Vertical Advantage: Authority lets Colucci walk on ceilings and walls. This can be used for terrain obstacles or to change areas to attack from a high vertical.
  • Crowd Control: Move so that enemies are grouped when you sheath Underboss.
  • Manual Control: The skill can be recast to end the state prematurely, allowing you to control your own field.

Ultimate: Colucci Ultimate Technique

Colucci Excels at off-field damage. This Ultimate deals seven AoE Anima damage and calls upon her Underboss to help.

  • The Pull Effect: The Underboss is a weak Pull Effect on all team attacks, to group enemies for your main DPS.
  • Follow-Up Synergy: The Underboss adds Anima DMG every other attack. This is Follow-up Attack DMG, and scales with certain gear bonuses and character traits.
  • Long Durability: The Underboss stays on the battlefield, even when Colucci is off-strata. This maximises her contribution to your team's DPS when she's not on the field.

Key Passives

  • More Than Passionate: Blossom Enhancement shoots 10 Lebenblumes with the Lebenstamm every second - adds another layer of self-damage to the build
  • Fair Duel: When in Ichi-daime's Authority state, anytime a teammate lands an Esper Cycle DMG hit, the target takes a 60% ATK Anima damage, at most 1 attack every 2 seconds - the reason reaction teams are so broken spell with her

Nanally is best teamed for reactions because of Fair Duel. The higher the hits from your teammates, the better she does. Focus on creating opportunities for hits, rather than killing.

Best Arcs (Weapons) For Nanally

Neverness to Everness Nanally Build

BiS: Ready-Ready

Ready-Ready is Nanally’s signature Legendary Arc and the clear best-in-slot. It boosts her ATK and massively amps her Basic Attack + Critical Riposte while giving powerful Tiger Talisman buffs that turn her into a boss-melting machine.

  • Increases ATK by 15%.
  • Boosts Basic Attack and Critical Riposte damage by 15% for 15s (stacks up to 2 times).
  • Grants Left Tiger Talisman on Redirect Skill and Right Tiger Talisman on Ultimate.
  • Unlocks Commander Tiger Talisman for +10% boss damage when both are active.

Strong Alternative: Fluff of Fortitude

Fluff of Fortitude is the best budget and early-game Arc for Nanally. It gives serious general damage and becomes extremely strong against low-HP enemies, making it perfect for clearing waves and early bosses.

  • Increases DMG by 22%.
  • Increases DMG to 28% against enemies with HP below 50%.
  • Excellent for general content and boss phases.
  • Great temporary option until you get Ready-Ready.

Pull for Ready-Ready as soon as possible after securing Nanally; it is far superior. Use Fluff of Fortitude as a strong budget replacement until then.

Nanally Best Modules, Geometries & Stats Priority

Modules (Relics)

  • Fireflies and the Forest(Nanally's Signature Arc) (4-piece) Best in slot. Anima DMG + team crit damage on Anima hits is purpose-built for her kit

Geometries (Planar Ornaments)

  • Lost Radiance Cosmos/Anima reaction damage, covers most team comps
  • Tiny Big Adventure HP% for Fadia teams

Stats Priority

  • Body: Crit DMG > Crit Rate | Feet: ATK% or SPD | Sphere: Anima DMG% | Rope: ATK% or Energy Regen
  • Substats: Crit DMG > Crit Rate > ATK% or SPD

Stack Crit DMG first. Every follow-up proc that hits is a free damage instance; the potential return is huge.

Nanally Team Comps: Best F2P & Meta Teams

Boss Executioner Team (Endgame Meta)

SlotCharacterRole
1AdlerIncantation support + shield
2DaffodilChaos carry + reactions
3FadiaDamage sponge + redirect
4NanallyMain DPS + Underboss

Why this works:

Adler (Incantation) + Daffodil (Chaos) = Scorch.

Daffodil + Fadia (Chaos + Psych) = Nova.

Scorch + Nova = Discord, which is the fastest method to break bars.

Nanally hits with Anima follow-ups to create Hex, all with Adler's Incantation. Three reaction chains simultaneously.

Fadia's mechanic: It's literally impossible to kill her. Fadias passive redirect is 75% of teammate damage taken, and stops before she dies. Add HP% to Fadia with Tiny Big Adventure and your team is now indestructible.

This is a spending team. Still worth saving as for as a midspender pull Daffodil before Fadia.

Mob & AoE Clear Team (F2P-Friendly)

SlotCharacterRole
1SakiriGrouping + Incantation
2ZeroCosmos application
3NanallyMain DPS + Underboss
4Chiz / Mint / JailwindHealing + passive damage

Why this works:

Zero applies Cosmos, Nanally applies Anima → Blossom (autonomous attacker that spawns and fires on its own). Sakiri's Incantation + Anima creates Hex. Nanally’s Underboss fires on every teammate hit. This team is built for hit count, not single-target burst. It generates more hits per second than any other launch squad and melts mob waves, elites, and dungeon runs.

This is the realistic F2P / low-spender team. Most characters are from standard banner or free pulls. It won’t one-shot bosses, but it clears everything else extremely fast. Use this while you save for the Boss Executioner team.

Minimal Viable F2P Team

Adler + Mint + Chiz + Skia. Average characters from banner clears midgame. Endgame is a bit away, but not impossible with free pulls.

Chiz (Cosmos) + Nanally (Anima) makes Blossom - a self-attacking, self-spawning shooter.
Nanally's Underboss shoots every teammate hit.
This is the hit count team, not the single target team. It spams more hits per second than most launch teams and grinds down mobs, elites and dungeons.

This team is for the F2P / low spender. Adler, Mint, Chiz, Skia are all average characters from the usual banner or mid-game clears. Endgame is a few turns away, though, and possible with free pulls.

Don't limit yourself to just one meta. Find more flexible elemental synergies in NTE team comps guide and start building your best team today.

Nanally Awakening (A1-A6) & Resonance Priority

Priority: A1 → A4 first, then push if you have the money.

  • A1 - Gang Formation: Generates 2.5 Ultimate Energy for each follow-up attack Nanally lands, once per second. This immediately speeds up your Ultimate loop, and will have Underboss up longer in extended fights - A1 is the first spike you want.
  • A2 - Second Member: Underboss has a 3s longer duration. This gives you more coordinated follow-up attacks and synergises with everything else.
  • A3 - Call Me the Boss: Another follow-up attack that deals 50% ATK Anima DMG trigger when Nanally deals damage in Authority state, once per second. Big boost to sustained rotations.
  • A4 - Not a Troublemaker: Increases damage of Underboss by 30%. The second major bounce - every follow-up Underboss fires gains 30% more. A4 is the floor, if you are vertical.
  • A5 - Followers Everywhere: Nanally gets 2% more ATK for each follow-up attack and up to 20% total. This stacks up to 20% and resets when she is out of battle, so it incentivises having her on during these short bursts.
  • A6 - WE are Family: Authority's duration is both 15 seconds and 20 seconds out of combat. Quality of life flexibility for positioning and rotating.

Resonance: Part 1 gives an increase in skill level to all main abilities - no joke. Part 2 flat 10% higher damage - the steady, reliable one.

The two game-changing moves are A1 and A4. A1 and A4 very soon after. Anything after A4 is a nice, but not game-changing option. If you're looking to secure these critical milestones before her banner ends, you can find a reliable NTE Top Up service to ensure you don't miss out.

Nanally Gameplay: Core Rotation & Combat Tips

Core Rotation:

  1. Start with Security or Adler E to take enemies down and boost shields
  2. Swap to Nanally and Skill to go Authority right away
  3. Do the simple attack pattern and wall plunges for burst (Grand Entrance has real height scaling)
  4. Throw down the Ultimate as soon as possible, then swap to supports
  5. Use support rotation for reactions. Underboss is banging in the background
  6. Swap back while Authority is still up and re-skill to keep the effect going

She is not a hypercarry; she is a conductor. Master the swap rhythm, keep off-field follow-ups running between rotations, and she deletes content that should be hard. Time your Ultimate inside stagger windows; only break damage does not scale outside of stagger.

Should You Pull Nanally?

Before spending your hard-earned solid dices, see where she ranks on our updated NTE tier list to compare her with other S-Rank damage dealers.

Pull: Flexible DPS covering both content types, strong follow-up mechanic, and reaction teams available. Best for midspenders and savvy F2P players seeking one DPS for boss and mobs with no need for a second carry. She doesn't cap out at a certain level. The more characters, the better Nanally gets.

Skip: No Anima reaction partners available; she underperforms hard in element-dead teams.

Pull in Phase 1, secure Fireflies and the Forest right after, and target A4 if budget allows. She is the launch unit that will still be relevant three patches from now.

FAQS

How does Nanally add damage when not on-field?

Thanks to her Underboss (summoned via Ultimate) and Fair Duel passive. The Underboss executes coordinated Anima attacks during teammates' turns, and Fair Duel deals 60% ATK damage when an ally hits with Esper Cycle.

What levels should I Awaken?

F2P should prioritise A1 to restore Ultimate Energy's remaining bars. A4 is the clear "power floor" for spenders, which increases damage to the Underboss.

What makes wall-running so vital to her fight?

While in Authority, Nanally can wall-run to gain falling distance. Her Grand Entrance! skill deals up to 200% DMG when falling from high heights, greatly boosting DPS.
