The Forge Christmas Update
So, what exactly has gotten the players so excited for the update? Well, the answer is, EVERYTHING. There is just so much that is going to be added in the new update and each leak proves to be better than the last. The update is confirmed to be launched on the 25th of December 2025, although the exact time may vary according to the region.
There is a new biome, four new races, a new weapon, a new rare ore, new features, and the Yeti Boss. New Races – Vampire, Werewolf, Fairy, Archangel
This is the part most players have been awaiting – the release of new races in the game. The Forge Update will feature the release of 4 new playable races in the game which include the Vampire race, the Werewolf race, the Fairy race and the rarest Archangel race. The Vampire Race
Just like the classic stories, the Vampire race in the Forge Update has the ability to heal itself. Imagine fighting like an aggressive monster while also healing at the same time? Just Goated. This race’s specialty is their skills with the dagger and the life steal ability. Whether these creatures can eat garlic or survive the sun, we don’t know. But we do know that these blood sucking mobs are going to bring a whole new gameplay style.
The Werewolf Race
A lot of you might have wanted to become a werewolf. I mean, it’s kind of interesting as well, a human in the morning and an overpowered monster at night. Well, now your wish has become a reality in your favorite RPG game. Just like the classic, the werewolf race is normal during the daytime but in the nighttime is when they show their true colours. This day and night transformation gives way to some quite interesting strategies.
The Fairy Race
For the players who like the more “magical” gameplay, the Fairy Race is for you. Not only does it add a little sparkle to your game but it also lets you level up quicker as compared to other races. The Fairies are very small with a low HP but the bonus XP they earn? It’s huge. This race is tailor-made for the players who want to level up quicker and unlock content early. That quick level up might be worth the lessened defenses but we don’t know it for sure as of now. Only one way to find out.
The Archangel Race
This race is the most anticipated one because of its divine-hybrid nature and of course the supernatural abilities that players expect to come with it. The Archangel is a hybrid between the Angel and the Demon Race. And do you know what this means? It means that this race is going to be broken and very very rare, with the rolling chance being as low as 0.1% so good luck with that one.
New enemies
With a new update, there are bound to be new enemies as well because where is the fun without them. Here is a list of leaked enemies that are expected to feature in the update:-
Orc
These are one of the new enemy types going to be introduced in the update. The Orcs will likely replace the skeletons but with different attack patterns. There will be two kinds of Orcs – the Normal orc and the Elite Orc and of course as the name suggests, the Elite ones are going to be tougher to deal with.
Ice Beetles/Spiders
These small creatures are not so small in the world of Forge and surprisingly, they are also going to be in the next update. Rumors have it that these crawlers are going to be much more dangerous and problematic to deal with as compared with the Orcs. I mean, who wants to face huge insects with poison effects and web attacks? Not me.
Yeti
Now this is the enemy the whole fandom has been waiting for for a long time. The world of Forge has no proper Boss but its about to get one with the release of Yeti – the very first boss of the Forge. Yet is expected to get fearsome powers that will reflect the new biome we are getting but as of now, we have no clear information on this big guy.
New Weapons – Mace, Spear & Pickaxe
So recently, the developers released a video in which we can see the rough design of the characters and two of them can be seen holding a spear and a mace. Now both are equally exciting because we have neither of them in the game before. The spear is shown with a wintery look and it is expected to have a longer range than the sword or katanas. The mace is quite a dangerous-looking one with a spherical shape and has spikes on it. The pickaxe, on the other hand, is called the “Subzero Pickaxe” and is rumored to be a frost-themed one and might help us mine ores in the new world.
New Armor & Island
A brand-new armor is also expected to be released with the update. This was leaked through a TikTok video that the official game released which showcased a character wearing a majestic armor that is not in the game. A brand new world with a new island will also be released with frosty themes and we do have some pictures of the leaks. This is called the Sub-zero Island and we can see the Christmas-themed decorations on it.
