How to Unlock the Secret Ending of the CoD Black Ops 7 Campaign

Today, we’re going to be looking at Black Ops 7, and we’re going to be talking about what we think is the best mode in the game. It is Endgame!

As we said, this is the most fun we’ve had with a co-op Call of Duty in a long time. It’s an extraction shooter. You and three teammates will be dropped into a large map, and there will also be other groups on the same map that you can team up with to complete certain bosses if needed.

How to Unlock the Secret Ending Cutscene?

As we mentioned earlier, the secret ending scene of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 campaign can only be seen by playing the Final Objective mode that takes place on the open Avalon map.

Specifically, this scene only plays if you manage to defeat the final boss, Dr. Falkner, which is related to one of the most difficult activities available in this mode.

The activity in question is located within Zone IV of Avalon, at the southern end of the map, and is titled “Toxin Source.” In this image, you can see the exact location of this activity:

This objective takes place on the island known as Cursed Rock, which you can reach by sea (or by flying with the wingsuit). You will also easily recognize its position on the map by its distinctive red skull icon.

Obviously, to complete this activity successfully, it is recommended that your character has already reached at least Combat Rank 45. However, it is advisable to have an even higher rank to make things easier, as well as to play as a team with other players for support rather than going it alone.

On the other hand, it is also highly recommended that before participating in this activity, you upgrade the damage of your primary weapon to Legendary rarity (remember that you can upgrade it by completing the activities called “Command Center” on the map).

Once you are ready, go to Cursed Rock Island to start the “Origin of the Toxin” activity. The first thing you have to do here is eliminate the corruption in the area by shooting the sources of the toxin, that is, destroying the reddish sprouts and spores that appear randomly throughout the stage in groups of 5 until you reach 100% progress on the objective bar.

When you have destroyed enough sprouts, the secret final boss, Dr. Falkner, will appear at the heliport in the area. The boss is not very difficult; just shoot him with everything you have to lower his health bar. It is more difficult to survive while destroying the sprouts than it is to face the boss himself.

Finally, when you have defeated Dr. Falkner and the enemy is dead, be sure to approach his corpse. The “Confirm kill and flee” button will appear on the screen. It is necessary to interact with this button for the activity to count as completed. And when you do, the secret final cutscene of the campaign will automatically play. This is the only way to see it.

Rewards for Unlocking the Secret Ending

Completing the Origin of the Toxin activity and defeating Dr. Falkner at Cursed Rock will earn you 1,200 Power points (to increase your Operator’s rank), and the enemy will always drop a box containing a random exotic weapon for your collection when they die. Weapons of this rarity are even better than legendary ones.

On the other hand, we must not forget that completing this activity also unlocks an exclusive Operator skin called “Fearless” for free. Depending on the character you play with, you will get this skin for them. Therefore, if you want this outfit for all 12 available characters in Final Objective, you must repeat and complete the activity with each character at least once.

Achievements and Trophies

Now let’s learn how unlock some of the more complex achievements and trophies in the game.

Reunion with Fidolina (Dead Ops Arcade Gorilla Daddy)

What we have to do is play in Zombies mode, choose Dead Ops Arcade 4 mode, play solo or cooperatively, on Casual difficulty, and with the camera type we want.

The objective of the game will be to reach round 40 and defeat Gorilla Daddy.

During the game, it is very important to save as many lives as possible, take advantage of the atomic bomb we receive in each round, and complete all the mini-games to get coins with which to buy the best possible skills.

As for the skills in the Infernal Store, our recommendation is as follows:

The Dead Operator skill so that the Chickens and weapons do 25% more damage.
The DAWG skill summons a DAWG that will last 60 minutes.
The Fury Generation skill so that the Infinite Gatling does 50% more damage.
The Atomic Bomb Dealer skill to start each round with 3 Atomic Bombs.
The Holy Sulfur skill drops meteorites that will kill zombies for 5 minutes.

At the end of round 16, you will have to choose which extra power you want from the 4 possible options.

Our recommendation is to choose the red rock to get the Infinite Gatling for the rest of the game.

The second-best option would be the blue rock, which we recommend to get a Chicken that will last the entire game, allowing this player to focus on collecting weapons as they appear to do extra damage with the Chicken. In addition, all the Chickens collected by this character will last twice as long.

When you reach the final boss, you will have to defeat him, although in our case, we got the achievement/trophy even though we died during the fight against Papa Gorilla in co-op mode.

Perfected (100 kills hybrid combat specialty)

What we have to do is play in Multiplayer mode and enter the Weapons and Armaments menu. In this menu, we will see that we have three Advantage boxes and one Specialty box.

Here, we will have to put two perks of the same color and another perk of a different color, as indicated in the Hybrid Specialty section, depending on the skill we want. In our case, it will be two green ones and one red one. Once we have the Hybrid Specialty activated, we play in the modes we want and kill 100 players.

Calling for Reinforcements (50 killstreaks in Multiplayer)

What we will have to do is play in Multiplayer mode and enter the Weapons and Armaments menu. Here we will have to configure the character to our liking.

Our recommendation is to use the Link System Field Upgrade, and in Advantage 3, we choose Funds so that all killstreaks cost 150 points less; the rest depends on each player. Then go to the Killstreak menu and choose UAV, Response UAV, and Grave Digger.

It is advisable to choose these because they will be needed for more achievements/trophies in multiplayer mode. Once everything is set up, look for a game preferably in the Confirmed Kill or Domination modes, which are the best modes for using killstreaks.

During the game, simply kill or complete objectives to earn streak points until you can request them, and repeat 50 times between the three. Keep in mind that if you are killed, you will lose your streak points and have to start over from scratch. If you have a streak available when you die, you can continue using it when you respawn.

How to complete the achievement “Ready for Action” (Training Circuit)?

What we have to do is play in Multiplayer, click on Search Game, and choose Training. In training, we will have to complete 6 tutorials with some basic concepts of multiplayer mode.

How to obtain the trophy “Don’t you dare to die” (Revive a teammate in Campaign)?

What we have to do is play in Co-op Campaign mode, choose the Fill Squad option to automatically search for players, or invite someone from our friends list and start any mission. During the mission, we simply let a teammate get injured and approach them to revive them.

How to get “High-quality product supplier” (Exotic weapons)?

Go to Co-op Campaign mode and proceed to choose “Mission 12: Final Objective.” In these games, we will go to Level IV Zone and complete activities that reward us with Exotic Weapon Opportunities, which are orange in color. Once we get one of these weapons, it will be ours for all games as long as we don’t die or fail to escape in the VTOL, and we will have to kill 250 enemies with it.
