Roblox’s Steal a Brainrot is really popular now. It is a lot of fun because you get to steal things and it has a lot of memes from the internet. The new update is even more exciting. They just added something called the Tsunami Mode Limited Time Event. This Tsunami Mode Limited Time Event is a deal, for Steal a Brainrot.

This mode was released on January 24 2026. It is very different from what we’re used to. Normally you would stay in your base. Try to protect your stuff. In this mode you have to do something completely different. You have to survive in a tough race.
What is Tsunami Mode?

Tsunami Mode is a survival event that’s really cool. It is like the games on Roblox where you have to escape from a tsunami. In Tsunami Mode you cannot take things from player bases. This is different from games. Players are flocking to the Steal a Brainrot market to trade their rare OG units for enough cash to max out their speed upgrades before the next Secret Tsunami wave hits.
In Tsunami Mode the game is more, about running from the bad guys on a straight map. There are guys called brainrots that show up in certain areas of the map.
So there is a problem. Every minute a huge wave of water comes across the whole map. If you are not in a place when the wave hits you have to go back to the start and you lose everything you did in that game.
Key Features of the LTM:

*Safe-Zones: You do not have to worry about people taking your stuff, which makes Safe-Zones the best way to get rare items without any problems. Safe-Zones are really fair because you can collect items in Safe-Zones without getting robbed.
*Zone Progression: When you run further the rewards get better. You can get all sorts of rewards from Common rewards to OG rewards. The more you run the better Zone Progression rewards you will get. That is really exciting. Zone Progression is about running further to get the best rewards.
*Speed is really important: The speed at which you walk by default is not good enough when you go to the zones. You need to have speed to do well in the deeper zones. Speed is what will help you in the zones.
Mutation Waves: Some big tsunamis can actually be good for the spawns. These tsunamis can give the spawns multipliers like Gold or Cursed. This means that the Mutation Waves and the spawns and the Mutation Waves can get some benefits from these tsunamis and the Mutation Waves.
How to Enter and Play
To join the chaos you do not need a pass. Just do these things:
- Enter the main Steal a Brainrot lobby.
- Locate the Escape Tsunami LTM Machine (usually near the center spawn).
- Press ‘E’ to interact and click ‘Join’.

When you get inside you will see a timer at the top of the screen. The timer is very important because it shows you how time you have, before the next wave starts. The timer is what you need to keep an eye on all the time.
Navigating the Rarity Zones
The map is split into eight parts. When you go further away from where you start the brainrot density gets stronger. The things you find become more rare. The brainrot density is what makes it harder to survive.
| Zone | Rarity Level | Risk Factor |
| Start | Common | Very Low |
| Mid-Way | Rare / Epic | Medium |
| Deep End | Legendary / Mythic | High |
| The Void | OG / Secret | Extreme |
Here is a good tip: do not be too greedy. When the tsunami timer is under 10 seconds and you are in the OG zone, look for a cavity, which’s a hole in the ground or a VIP side room right away. The tsunami timer and the OG zone are very important here. When the tsunami timer is under 10 seconds and you are, in the OG zone just find a cavity or a VIP side room.
Survival Tactics: Tsunami Types
Some waves are bad news. You have to know what the wave looks like and what kind of wave it is. This means looking at the color and the label of the wave. The color and label of the wave will help you figure out what to do.
* Easy is, like the ones: they are slow-moving. You can usually outrun these enemies even if you have the basic speed that everyone starts with.
- Fast which’s yellow is something that you need to be really quick for. You have to be at least at level 10 to 15 speed if you want to be faster than it.
- Deadly (Red): These move at a blistering pace. Do not attempt to outrun them; find a safe spot.
- Secret (Purple): These things show up every 15 minutes. They can be bad news but they come out at the same time, as Secret Lucky Blocks and the really strong brainrots.
- Mutation Waves (Gold/Cursed): These Mutation Waves are really rare. They work a lot like the waves but they do something extra to the brainrots in the zones. The Mutation Waves turn the brainrots into mutated versions of themselves. These mutated brainrots get multipliers that are between 1.5 and 9 times bigger.
- Game: You should try to get your Speed to at least fifty. This way you can make it to the zones and get back to a safe place before an Easy wave comes.

- Game: You should try to get to 230 Speed. This speed is really good because it lets you get to the zones and it is safe to jump into floor gaps before the Deadly waves come.
Warning: If you decide to go for Rebirth your speed is going to go to zero.. You will get a money multiplier that will stay with you forever. So only do Rebirth if you have a lot of money saved up because you will need it to buy back your speed quickly.
How to Get Secret Brainrots (The 15-Minute Rule)
People play this mode a lot because they want to get the Secret Brainrots. Normally it is really hard to find these things. Tsunami Mode is different. The Secret Brainrots show up at times, in Tsunami Mode so it is easier to find them.
Every 15 minutes something big happens. This is called a Secret Tsunami. At the time a High-Tier Secret Brainrot shows up at the very end of the map. The Secret Tsunami and the High-Tier Secret Brainrot are two things that you should know about. The High-Tier Secret Brainrot is always found at the end of the map when the Secret Tsunami occurs.
- Pay attention to the time: Make sure you are at the edge of the Mythic zone when the clock hits around 14 minutes.
- The Dash: When the Secret wave goes by, run fast as you can to the end of the “OG” lane.
- The Loot: Grab the Secret Lucky Block or the spawned unit.
- The Slap: Remember this when you are playing The Slap stealing is not allowed.. Slapping other players is okay. So use the things you have to slap players and knock them away from The Secret spawn. This way you can get The Secret spawn for yourself. Win The Slap.
Final Verdict: Is It Worth It?
I am so done with those admins and high level players who always take my stuff. The Tsunami LTM is really great. It is all about being good at moving and having good timing. The Tsunami LTM does not care about how powerful you’re.
