Two Main Questlines – Start Both Immediately
When you arrive on Island 4, there are two major questlines to go through. Both are important, so start them as quickly as possible so your kills and mining count for multiple quests at once.
Sensei Moro gives you mining quests. You work through progressively harder rocks, including Bamboo Pebbles and Bamboo Rocks, found in the cave areas.
The Shogun gives you combat quests. His tasks involve defeating stronger enemies as you push further into the island.
How to Find the Shogun
From the spawn point, head right through the gate. At the intersection, take a right. Pass the guards, then take another right through the gate. You will see the Shogun's castle ahead. The Shogun’s quest enemies include Samurai Apes, Monk Pandas, and the high-level Brute Onis found near the Holy Tree.

Best Pickaxe Progression Path
Do not buy every pickaxe. You will waste gold. Follow this path instead: The best early game pickaxe is the Bamboo Pickaxe to start grinding new ores. For mid-game, skip the Sakura Pickaxe entirely and go straight for the Wolf Pickaxe. It takes slightly more grinding but saves significant money.

Best AFK Farming Spot
Currently, the best spot to farm AFK is behind the waterfall, near the cave entrance. There is a boulder here that respawns quite quickly, and developers even gave you a spot to stand, so you don't get knocked around. If you have a private server, this is a great spot to leave running overnight to earn steady gold.
New Armor Traits System
Armor pieces now have traits that affect your stats. Heavy Armor reduces move speed and stamina boost, but makes you stronger. Light armor makes you faster and more agile. How to Beat It
Head towards the other corners of the arena and heal yourself back up as the boss walks towards you. The boss's weakness is that it has no movement.
It is possible to defeat Asura's Incarnate using late Island 3 equipment as long as you take the fight slowly. Do not rush. Keep your distance, heal at corners, and attack only during gaps between his moves.
Island 4 Roadmap - Upcoming Content
An update was announced for approximately two weeks after the Island 4 launch around March 9. Confirmed features include Spirit Cave, Goblin King Boss, Side Quests, Ore Crafting, Equipment Traits, New Traits, and New Runes.
