What You Should Know Before Starting Arknights Endfield Valley IV AIC?

Valley IV Quick Overview

The Automated Industry Complex, or AIC, is your portable factory network. Valley IV runs on one main hub and three outpost hubs. The main hub is the PAC, and the outpost hubs are Sub-PACs. All of them share one regional Depot.

The key rule is simple. Every machine ties back to a hub for power. If power drops, production stops everywhere. So we always solve power first, then build.

Arknights Endfield Valley IV AIC Factory - Quick Overview

Valley IV gives us four buildable AIC factory location options.

Arknights Endfield: Valley IV AIC Factory Locations
AIC Area Region Type How to Unlock
Core AIC The Hub Main PAC Valley Reboot main mission
Refugee Camp Valley Pass Sub-PAC Building an Outpost mission
Infra-Station Originium Science Park Sub-PAC Outpost: Infra-Station quest
Reconstruction HQ Power Plateau Sub-PAC Power Plateau outpost quest

Goals in Valley IV

Your factory chases four things at once. Keep these in mind, and every build decision gets easier.

  • Power. Batteries fuel Thermal Banks, which keep your machines running.
  • Income. Outposts pay Stock Bills for the goods they want.
  • Gear. Ore chains craft your armor and weapon materials.
  • Prep for Wuling. A finished Valley IV base sets up the next region.

Income deserves a second look. Based on version 1.3, an HC Valley Battery sells at every Valley IV outpost for 70 Stock Bills each, so spare power turns straight into cash. Those Stock Bills also feed your account, since regional rewards hand out gacha currency.

Resource Introduction

Everything in Valley IV flows from three ores and a few plants. Learn this loop, and you can fix problems on sight.

  • Ores: Originium Ore, Amethyst Ore, and Ferrium Ore. Ferrium needs the Electric Mining Rig Mk II.
  • Plants: Sandleaf and Buckflower, grown in Planting Units and shredded into powder.
  • Power fuel: Batteries or raw Originium Ore, burned in Thermal Banks.

Batteries are the backbone of your grid. All three tiers share the same basic recipe, so upgrading is quick.

Arknights Endfield: Valley IV Battery Tiers
Battery Approx. Power Main Materials Best Stage
LC Valley Battery 220 Amethyst Part + Originium Powder Early game
SC Valley Battery 420 Ferrium Part + Originium Powder Mid game
HC Valley Battery 1,100 Steel Part + Dense Originium Powder Late game

Your trade goods matter just as much. Buck Capsules heal your operators and sell for Stock Bills. Capsule A is the strongest heal and keeps your best Arknights Endfield characters alive in tough fights. Canned Citrome C and Origocrust help soak up leftover ore.

Arknights Endfield Valley IV AIC Layout

Your layout should grow with your Authority Level, not ahead of it. Below is what to build in each stage.

Early

The early game runs from the start until you unlock Ferrium mining, around Authority Level 18. Amethyst is your bottleneck here, so spend it wisely.

  • Aim for Amethyst Components first. They craft basic gear for enemies up to level 30.
  • Build a Buck Capsule C line for healing and Stock Bill trading.
  • Store spare Amethyst Parts, since many machines need them later.

For power, burn Originium Ore in your Thermal Banks first. Batteries eat Amethyst, which you cannot spare yet. A quiet tip most players miss: grab every mining node you pass and power it right away. Backtracking later wastes real time.

Mid

The mid game spans Authority Level 18 to 34. Ferrium Ore opens up, and your priorities shift toward gear and power.

  • Craft Ferrium Components for level 36 blue gear. Unlock Outfitting I so operators can equip it.
  • Switch your trade good to Buck Capsule B, the preferred item at higher outpost levels.
  • Move your Thermal Banks onto LC, then SC Valley Batteries for cleaner power.

This is also when Protocol Stash and Depot Bus unlock. Use them to split production across areas without clogging your hubs. You can also run a short Industrial Explosives line for exploration, then remove it once you have a stack.

Late

The late game starts once you grind Cryston, around Authority Level 34. Now you finalize Valley IV before Wuling.

  • Produce Cryston Components for level 50 purple gear.
  • Move your Thermal Banks to HC Valley Batteries for endgame power.
  • Keep Buck Capsule A running as your top healing item and trade good.

A tuned late-game base produces 18 HC Valley Batteries and 18 Buck Capsule A per minute. This needs high mineral purity, so reach at least Regional Development Level 11 first. One warning from experience: the income-max layout skips gear like Cryston Components. So run it only after your Wuling AICs are live.

  2. Open the AIC and press Tab for top view.
  3. Go to the Blueprint menu, then the Shared Blueprint tab.
  4. Click Import Blueprint and paste the code.
  5. Place it in a free space to build.

Advanced Techniques For Arknights Endfield Valley IV AIC

Once your base runs itself, these tricks squeeze out extra value.

  • Feed Wuling early. The regional transfer button sends Ferrium or Originium to Wuling at 1,500 per hour.
  • Zero-cycle your ore. Turn off a Valley IV Ferrium output to divert income to Wuling. Your HC battery rate drops from 18 to 17, which is a fair trade.
  • Trim your power. Keep your power cap close to your usage. Remove a spare Thermal Bank and sell the extra batteries instead.
  • Split for space. Place a Protocol Stash between two machines and route output backward. This kills space in the middle.
  • Watch yield versus usage. Each ore output adds 30 per minute. The Protocol Management screen shows this clearly.

One real-world snag is worth knowing. The top-left Electric Pylon at Reconstruction HQ may not be placed until that outpost reaches Level 2, players report. Until then, you get around 17.25 Buck Capsules A per minute. That still clears your Stock Bill deliveries fine.

FAQs

How many AIC factory areas does Valley IV have?

Four. One Core AIC in The Hub, plus three outpost Sub-PACs in Valley Pass, Originium Science Park, and Power Plateau.

What Regional Development Level do I need for an endgame layout?

Aim for Level 11. It unlocks high-purity mineral beds, which keep a full layout fed.

Why do my minerals keep dropping to zero?

Your usage sits above your yield. Each ore output adds 30 per minute. Turn off a line or raise your yield.

Do blueprint codes work on any server?

No. Codes are region-locked. Asia codes fail on NA and EU, and the reverse is also true.

Should I burn Originium Ore or batteries in Thermal Banks?

Use Originium Ore early, since batteries eat scarce Amethyst. Switch to batteries once production is stable.

Which trade good should I produce?

Match the outpost level. Early outposts want Buck Capsule C or B. Later ones take Buck Capsule A.

My imported blueprint will not fit. What is wrong?

Usually the area is not fully upgraded, the core is not moved to a corner, or the pieces are not aligned.

Why does my Cryston or battery line keep stalling?

Sandleaf is the usual cause. Cryston and HC batteries lean on Sandleaf Powder, so keep that loop stable.
