Whiteout Survival: How to Play Dreamscape Memory Event

Whiteout Survival has released a new and interesting event. Today, we will cover the way it works, where to find the clues or the items, and share with you a lot of tips to play Dreamscape Memory. First of all, let's cover the expectation for free-to-play and pay-to-win players.

Event Expectations and Progression

Dreamscape Event Expectations

The first estimation is like for these Fish Bites, you get 240 per event. You get 240, and to unlock chapter 7, you need 250. Therefore, at best, a free-to-play player is going to reach level 6 if you are good. If you fail a bit, you're going to go to level 5 in terms of progression in the recall road.

Accordingly, that's where you get the Island skin. Then you can get the frame. Later, you can get the name plate, and you can get the Marching Skin at level 25. When you clear five chapters, you're going to get at least the first five levels.

You can buy the special packs they give for a plus 10% and plus 20% for $5, and that allows you to reach at least level 8. Some players have reported reaching level 10, but that's going to be very hard.

Maxing the event can cost you up to $200. For a spender event, it's not that crazy when it comes to how much it costs. Many whales can do that without a problem. For the rest of us, it's another story. In that case, it seems to be an event of slow progression.

We're assuming that levels are asking for more and more. It may take more than seven events to get to the end. Since it's a monthly event, we can speculate that the City Skin might take a year for free-to-play at that rate. That, if they are not changing things later on the road. Something to keep in mind that we've seen with Snowbuster and similar other events.

Seldom do the developers take into consideration the feedback when they rerun events, and we get a second version that integrates players´ feedback. That's what has been happening so far in the game quite a bit.

So, we would be surprised if, in the following months, we don't see a rerun of a similar event where they will be integrating feedback and making it faster to obtain the rewards.

Dreamscape Fusion (Co-op Mode)

Dreamscape Fusion (Co-op Mode)

Let's cover the Dreamscape Fusion quickly. In this mode, there is a leaderboard, but there is no reward for rank in the leaderboard. It's just for fun. And the way it works is easier. You create a room; you post an invite on your alliance chat or on the world chat on a channel, and someone can join you. You can also make a private chat with your friends.

You can go random matchmaking, which is going to take one or two minutes to find someone, and then you're going to play an event that's about like clicking a lot of items, right? There will be six items to click on at the bottom of the screen, and you have to click on them very quickly.

But that's, you know, the only thing you need to do is 7,000 points a day, which is one or two matches if you know how to play. It's very simple. You can do it 20 times a day. Again, we want to emphasize that it's really for bragging and fun. It will be like a ranking per day, then an overall ranking.

There are no rewards assigned to that, but it is a fun experience overall, especially with friends.

Strategic Gameplay Tips for Dreamscape Fusion

Dreamscape Fusion

Now let's talk about the dreamscape memory.

  1. Buy Dreams
Buy Dreams

We advise buying Dreams before you start to play. The $5 pack offers 10% plus more points, and the $10 one is 20% more points. If you're a spender, invest in that. What worked a lot for us was practicing on our farm. That takes us to the second tip: practice on your farm.

  1. Do the first six levels with your farm.

Get used to seeing the item. Get used to matching the name of the item in your language or in English with what's visual. Some items can sometimes be tricky to identify.

  1. Language Settings

You expect a coin, let's say, and it is for a lot of people that doesn´t really look like a coin. It looked like something else.

Thus, you will like to train your brain to match the name in English or in your language, whatever. Some feedback from the community indicates that some language translations are very poor. Some words are translated automatically, and they do not match the real item names.

Therefore, look at the images, look at the lists, and learn the level. There is some sort of randomness between each chapter, and they seem to have different levels of difficulty somehow.

  1. Hardware Choice

It seems that playing on the computer with the mouse can be very slow. If you had an iPad or an Android tablet with a touchscreen that supports two fingers, it's probably much faster when you start to get the angle of it, and can save you some seconds. If you're using Bluestacks, LD Player, or Google Play for PC, you might be slower.

  1. Learn the "Dead Zones"

To save time, learn where items never spawn, such as on the roof of buildings or directly on beds in some levels.

Resource Management: Dream Bells vs. Fish Baits

Resource Management Dream Bells vs Fish Baits

Dream Bells are items that you can use when you fail a level. They allow you to add 25 seconds and give you a clue. Basically, you get a free item with a clue, and you have 25 more seconds.

But this item is really scarce and is not worth it to spend in early levels. Our advice is that, if you fail early, it is better to use Fish Baits. Some chapters have up to 12 stages. If you fail stage 3, use your Fish Bait and save your Dream Bells in stage 10 or superior.

But you know, it's still much cheaper if you spend money. Even as a free-to-play, we managed to get 100 dream bells on our farm. We could use it without problem, but the Fish Bait seems to be the superior option to use first, most of the time, followed by the Dream Bells.
