How to play Lament Recon: Tacet Crisis
Lament Recon: Tacet Crisis is a top-down wave mode for one preset event Resonator, not a normal three-character team. Event weapons attack automatically; you control movement, dodge, an active ability, and post-wave choices. Normal Echoes and equipped weapons do not carry over.
There are two modes in Lament Recon: Tacet Crisis. One is Skill Tests; the other is Infinite. Three types come in Skill Tests: Training, Op Record, and Challenge. In Training and Op Record stages, the participating resonators are fixed. In Challenge stages, you can choose any resonator you like. Complete the Skill Tests, then the Infinite mode will be unlocked.

Energy Missile
Traits Introduction and tips:
Energy Missile: Shoots energy missiles in ranged attacks. Energy missiles will have a clear red warning before landing. You can dodge them by moving before they hit the ground. While a single missile doesn't deal much damage, multiple missiles can threaten your HP. You can counter this by dashing to dodge, choosing the items and stats to level up damage, dodge, and defense.
Charge: Charges towards the Resonator. Similar to energy missiles, enemies will have a clear red warning before charging, indicating their dash direction and attack range. Don't overuse the limited number of dashes until the red warning is fully fixed. Picking Denia to deal with this trait is very effective.
Split: Splits into several TDs when defeated. When there are too many enemies on the field, it's not recommended to attack enemies with this trait first.
Slumber: Immobile and takes higher DMG when spawned. Wakes up and regains mobility after a while. It's recommended to prioritize killing enemies with this trait. Otherwise, they will increase our survival pressure after they wake up.
Stomp: Stomp on the ground to deliver area damage. Suitable for ranged attack characters.
Enhancement: Boosts nearby enemies. Prioritize enemies with the enhancement trait.
Enemy Waves
Enemy stats will grow as you progress to higher waves. Enemies will also appear more frequently and of higher quality. So please check how many waves there are in your current level. It will allow you to plan your character selection and build in advance.
How to Fight Smarter in Lament Recon: Tacet Crisis
When you are in the field: Movement, Dodge, and Collection
During each round, you are asked to survive within a limited time, or kill the boss to end the current round. You can only move your character and dodge; weapons equipped by your character will attack automatically.
When you are in the field, enemies, chests, and life balls will spawn randomly. Enemies leave behind op credits, which can be used in the shop when they die. Kill more enemies to claim more op credits and get the character level up.
Tips for combat:
The number of dodges is limited. Once depleted, a cooldown begins. Therefore, it's crucial to time your dodges carefully. Avoid damage with movement whenever possible.
Before enemies spawn, a red warning will appear on the ground. Observing these signs indicates their spawn location and density, allowing you to dodge their attacks in advance.
Prioritize your own survival before focusing on killing more enemies to collect OP credits and level up your resonator. This is extremely helpful for buying items in the shop later and for character builds.
Don't rush to collect life orbs. Collecting them when your resonator's HP is full is ineffective and a waste.
Chests don't change location after randomly spawning. You can control your character to guide enemies near chests, breaking them while defeating enemies.
When you are out of the field: Character Builds
Upgrade Stats:
Your resonator levels up in battle, allowing you to upgrade stats an equal number of times. You have four stats to choose from each time. The quality of the stats you choose increases with your level.
Tips for Upgrade Stats Selection:
Prioritize the main damage family, then add speed, range, projectiles, ricochet, spread, or summon reach. Take HP, DEF, regeneration, movement, or dodge support when survival becomes the limit. Invest in economy only after both are stable.
If no compatible stats are available, choose the higher-quality ones.
Chest Rewards:
After you break the chest in the field, you can select only one chest reward. The usual option is to claim.
Weapon:
In Lament Recon: Tacet Crisis, each resonator, except Denia, can carry six weapons. Each character enters battle with one or two weapons. Weapon types can be broadly divided into three categories: melee (e.g., Corrupted Sword and Worn Spear), ranged (e.g., Musketoon), and summoner (e.g., Frying Pan and Stray KU-Roro). Each weapon type has a different attack range and attack frequency.
After completing a wave, you can purchase new weapons in the shop by using OP credits. Here are tips for weapon selection:
Prioritize selecting identical weapons and merging them into higher-quality weapons.
Next, select weapons of the same type and build your offensive and defensive lines based on the weapon type your resonator supports, such as a melee build for Hiyuki, a ranged build for Carlotta, or a summoner build for Shorekeeper.
As your resonator level increases, the quality of weapons appearing in the shop will also increase. You can also directly select higher-quality weapons.
Items:
Besides weapons, you can also buy some items in the shop. However, items not only offer buffs but also debuffs. Think carefully about your character builds. If the debuffs of the selected items do not affect the key stats required for character building, then it's not a big deal. For example, Luck is important for Ameath; when you build her, you'd better not choose the items that will reduce Luck.

Lament Recon: Tacet Crisis FAQ
Is Lament Recon: Tacet Crisis permanent?
Yes. After the limited reward window ends on August 19, 2026, the mode moves to Permanent Events. Its 1,200 Astrite and limited cosmetics then expire.
How many Astrite can you get from Lament Recon: Tacet Crisis?
The limited missions award 1,200 Astrite in total. Claim the Astrite, Space, and Blake Bloom Avatar, and matching Sigil before the reward deadline.
How do you unlock Lynae in Lament Recon: Tacet Crisis?
The in-game panel requires two conditions: increase Spawn DMG by more than 10 in any stage, then survive 10 waves and select Finalize in Challenge: Doomsday Finale.
Does Save and Exit count as Finalize in Lament Recon?
No. If the mission says Finalize, reach its named wave and choose Finalize. Save and Exit does not submit that objective.
Conclusion
Lament Recon: Tacet Crisis is easiest when each choice supports one route: read the objective, build one damage family, add survival early, and spend Op Credits without breaking useful weapon thresholds. Finalize at the required milestone and claim limited rewards before chasing longer records.
