WuWa SuiSui Build Guide - Best Weapons, Echoes, Teams, Stats, and Materials
Cheeta Himanshu
SuiSui is a 5-star Glacio Rectifier support and healer in Wuthering Waves. Kuro revealed her in the Version 3.5 preview broadcast as Yangyang's older sister and the chairwoman of the Zhaoming Commerce Guild. She debuts in Version 3.5 as the Phase 2 featured 5-star, on her banner "Blessings From Dewy Winds." What makes her special is simple. She heals, she buffs attack through Energy Regen, and she makes every negative status on the field hit harder. No other healer does all three at once.
We have been digging into her kit since the reveal, and the more we map out her rotation, the more broken she looks in the right team. This guide covers everything you need, from her kit and rotation to weapons, echoes, stats, teams, and materials. If you are planning pulls for the patch, check the WuWa 3.5 Banner Guide before spending your Astrites.
One quick note. Version 3.5 launches on July 10, 2026, and SuiSui arrives in Phase 2, so expect her around early August. Kuro has officially confirmed her element, weapon type, signature weapon, her domain Ceaseless Landscape, and her core Stillness and Floral Epistle mechanic. The exact multipliers, Sequences, and material counts below still come from beta data and can change. She is one of several fresh Resonators on the way, so it helps to see the full Wuthering Waves upcoming characters list before you commit your savings. We will update this guide once her kit goes final.
SuiSui Build Quick Overview
Here is the snapshot. Detailed breakdowns follow below.
Build based on Version 3.5 beta data. Echo sets and main echo are not finalized yet, so values may change before release.
SuiSui Strengths and Weaknesses
Wuwa Suisui strengths:
She amplifies every negative status, not just one. Glacio Chafe, Havoc Bane, Spectro Frazzle, Fusion Burst, Aero Erosion, and Electro Flare all benefit.
Her Outro grants 25% All Damage Amplification for 30 seconds. That is one of the longest universal buffs in the game.
Her healing scales off HP through Enrichment and Spring's Birth, so she needs no attack stats.
Her Shifting Gold passive saves a teammate from a fatal hit with no setup.
She can slot into almost any team that applies a debuff.
Wuwa Suisuiweaknesses:
She has a high skill ceiling. You must stack Floral Epistle fast inside a 15-second window.
She is very Energy Regen hungry. Below 200%, her buffs fall off hard.
Her full value only shows in negative status teams. Elsewhere she is just a healer with a good Outro.
She is squishy on the field with no defensive stats.
Her best 3.5 echo set is not confirmed yet, so day-one builds may use older sets.
SuiSui Kit Breakdown
Before we get into the build, you need to understand her core mechanic. Otherwise the build choices will not make sense.
SuiSui runs on a two-stance system. She is an active support, not a one-button healer.
Basic Attack and Stances
Water Fan State (Cleansing): Her default stance. Normal Attacks and Dodge Counters build Stillness, up to 120 points.
Water Sleeves State (Cleansing Rain): Her enhanced stance. It lasts 15 seconds. Attacks now build Floral Epistle, up to 600 points. Her stage-4 attack applies one stack of Glacio Chafe. Interruption resistance also rises by one level.
Plunging attacks: In Cleansing Rain she gains two plunges, Illuminating Dew and Swallow's Cut, for extra Floral Epistle.
Realization: A timed dodge during certain attacks that restores her current resource and chains into more hits.
All Floral Epistle clears when Cleansing Rain ends. Every point must be earned and spent inside that window.
Resonance Skill: Awakening Spring
At full Stillness, her Resonance Skill upgrades to Awakening Spring. Casting it consumes all Stillness, deals Glacio damage, applies one stack of Glacio Chafe, and enters Cleansing Rain. It also grants the team one stack of Enrichment, once every 25 seconds. Enrichment lets the active carry receive healing over time from her.
Never use the base Resonance Skill in a real rotation. Always fill Stillness first, then cast Awakening Spring.
Resonance Liberation: Song of Thoroughfare
This deploys her field, Ceaseless Landscape, for 25 seconds. While it is active, the team gains these bonuses.
That status stack limit on the target rises by 3 for 15 seconds
Electro Flare
Electro Flare and Electro Rage stack limits both rise by 3 for 15 seconds
Havoc Bane
Havoc damage ignores 6% of enemy DEF and 12% of Havoc RES for 15 seconds
Build based on Version 3.5 beta data. Values may change before release.
This field is what makes her universal. It does not care which element your carry uses.
Outro Skill: Rippling Waters and Heaven's Roam
Her Outro grants the team 25% All Damage Amplification for 30 seconds. She then exits Cleansing Rain and spends all her Floral Epistle. If Ceaseless Landscape is still active, she enters Heaven's Roam, and her buffs scale in tiers.
Heaven's Roam

0+
Teammates gain Reflecting Shadows for 6 seconds (interruption resistance +1)

Incoming carry gains DMG: +0.2% per 1% Energy Regen over 200%, up to 12%
600+
Incoming carry gains ATK when depleting status stacks: +0.1% per 0.12% Energy Regen over 200%, up to 50%
Build based on Version 3.5 beta data. Values may change before release.
Hitting 600 is what separates a working SuiSui from an optimized one. At 600 the carry gets both the damage buff and the attack steroid, all scaling off her Energy Regen.
Inherent Skills
Sky Over Water: When a teammate consumes Enrichment, they gain Spring's Birth. They then heal every 2 seconds while below full HP. Awakening Spring and her Intro also restore energy and briefly boost Crit Rate and Glacio damage.
Shifting Gold: When a teammate would take a fatal blow, the hit is negated. They recover 50% of SuiSui's current HP instead, and she loses the same amount but cannot drop below 1 HP. It triggers once every 10 minutes.
Shifting Gold is a real lifesaver in Tower of Adversity, where one boss hit can delete a squishy carry.
Intro Skill: Tinkling Jade
She swaps in with a Glacio strike and applies one stack of Glacio Chafe. It also triggers her energy and Crit Rate bonuses from Sky Over Water.
The 200% Energy Regen Rule
Here is the key. Her best buffs scale off Energy Regen, and the breakpoint is 200%. Below that line, neither Outro formula activates. Above it, both scale for every extra point. So 200% is a hard floor, not a soft goal. Build her around Energy Regen first, then add HP.

Why It Works
Firstlight's HeraldSignature
5-star
77% Energy Regen, +12% HP, Concerto restore, and a team ATK buff. Best in slot.
Stellar Symphony
5-star
77% Energy Regen, HP boost, and an unconditional team ATK buff on heal. A clean stat stick.
Variation
4-star
51.84% Energy Regen and Concerto restore. The cheapest path to 200% and the best budget pick.
Build based on Version 3.5 beta data. Values may change before release.
Honestly, her signature is excellent but not mandatory. Firstlight's Herald is actually her own mechanical bird, and it gives the most Energy Regen of any option. Still, SuiSui wants Energy Regen far more than raw stats. Variation does the job for free-to-play players and still feeds her buffs.
Should You Pull SuiSui Signature Weapon or First Resonance Chain?
This is the big question, and the answer differs from most carries. For SuiSui, we lean toward her first Resonance Chain over the signature for many players. Her S0 attack buff has a condition. The carry must consume negative status stacks through skills to trigger it. S1 removes that condition and lets her buff almost any negative status DPS.
So if you only run Hiyuki or Xuanling, the signature is great. If you want her to work across many teams, S1 is the smarter buy. You can run Variation as the weapon and grab S1 instead.
Best Echoes and Stats for SuiSui
Kuro confirmed three new Sonata (Echo) sets for Version 3.5: Song of Feathered Trace, Heart of Evil's Purge, and Lamp of Nether Road. The set bonuses are not public yet, so we cannot crown her best in slot until the numbers drop. One of these three is likely her best home, given her status and support focus. Until we test them, two existing sets cover her well.

Strong alternative. The 2-pc ER also helps hit 200%.

Best Teams for SuiSui
Her best teams all revolve around negative status stacking. Drop her into a random comp and she underperforms. Pair her with the right carry and she turns the whole team broken.

This is her peak team. Lucilla shreds Glacio resistance and stacks Glacio Chafe fast. SuiSui raises the stack limit with her field, then Outros into Hiyuki with full buffs. Three Glacio units stacking Chafe at once create huge damage-over-time pressure. Here SuiSui replaces Chisa, trading DEF shred for healing, death prevention, and a stronger Outro.

Xuanling stacks Havoc Bane through her heavy attacks. Chisa adds DEF shred and lifts the stack ceiling. SuiSui's field then lets that damage ignore enemy DEF and Havoc RES. Xuanling hits hard but dies fast, so Enrichment and Shifting Gold keep her standing. This is likely her second-best team and the main reason to pull her alongside Xuanling.

In teams without a set status archetype, she still gives strong healing and a 25% All DMG Amp Outro. She will not beat Shorekeeper on raw healing, but her amplification wins when your team applies any debuff at all.
A Caveat Worth Knowing
At S0, her attack buff only triggers when the carry consumes negative status stacks with skills. This is why Hiyuki and Xuanling fit so well. Characters who consume statuses passively, or who scale off HP, get much less from this buff. S1 fixes this completely.
SuiSui Resonance Chains: What to Pull
SuiSui works fully at S0. Her field and Outro both function with no dupes. A few Sequences still offer real power spikes.

Verdict
S1
Outro attack buff triggers from any negative status. Field lasts 30s. Cleansing Rain becomes interruption immune.
The best value pull. Fixes her one weakness.
S2
Team inside the field gains 40% All-Attribute DMG Bonus, plus extra Crit DMG.
The biggest spike. A massive team-wide steroid.
S3
Illuminating Dew grants 18 Concerto Energy and 350 Floral Epistle.
Smooths her rotation and hits 600 with ease.
S4
Enrichment and Spring's Birth healing increased by 50%.
Comfort only. Low priority.
S5
Cleansing Rain Basic and Heavy Attack damage increased by 100%.
Personal damage niche. Skip for support builds.
S6
Intro and Awakening Spring Crit DMG increased by 500%.
A burst flex. Overkill for pure support.

Our recommendation is simple. Stop at S0 if you want clean value, since her base kit already delivers. Grab S1 if you plan to use her across many teams. Push to S2 only if you want the strongest possible buff and have spare Astrite. The pull order is Firstlight's Herald, then S1, then S2. If you want to guarantee her or her Sequences, you can Buy Wuwa Lunite to top up before her banner drops.
SuiSui Materials to Pre-Farm

Save character and weapon EXP materials.
Hold Waveplates for the new boss and Forgery drops at launch.
Her boss drop, Local Specialty, and weekly material are new to 3.5, so you cannot farm those early.
Astrite Budget
Two limited 5-stars share Version 3.5, so plan your savings. Yangyang: Xuanling runs first on "Voices on Azure Feathers," then SuiSui follows in Phase 2 on "Blessings From Dewy Winds." The pity is 80 pulls, and a guarantee can reach 160.

Is SuiSui Worth Pulling?
Yes, she is, if she fits your account. Let us be straight about it though. SuiSui is not a hyper-carry. If your account still needs a main DPS, she will not fix that. But if you own a strong carry that abuses Glacio Chafe or Havoc Bane, she becomes the best force multiplier in the game.
Pull her if:
You already run Hiyuki and Lucilla. She is the missing third piece.
You plan to pull Xuanling. She makes that Havoc Bane team work as designed.
You love negative status playstyles and want offense plus sustain in one slot.
Think twice if:
You already own Shorekeeper and skip debuff teams. The upgrade is marginal there.
You still need a main DPS more than a support.
You cannot reach 200% Energy Regen on her build.
Supports also tend to stay relevant across many patches, so she is a safe long-term pick for most accounts. Before you spend, take a look at the full WuWa 3.5 Banner Guide to plan your pulls across the patch.
Frequently Asked Questions
SuiSui — FAQ
Quick Answers
Q.Is SuiSui released yet?
Not yet. Version 3.5 launches on July 10, 2026, and she arrives in Phase 2, so expect her around early August. Her element, weapon, signature, and domain are officially confirmed. The exact numbers are still beta.
Q.Is SuiSui Yangyang's younger or older sister?
She is the older sister. Kuro confirmed this in the Version 3.5 broadcast. Suisui is outgoing and business-minded, while Yangyang is the quiet, gentle sibling.
Q.How much Energy Regen does SuiSui need?
Aim for at least 200%. Every point past that feeds her attack and damage buffs.
Q.Is SuiSui better than Shorekeeper?
It depends. Shorekeeper heals harder. SuiSui adds Ceaseless Landscape, which boosts every debuff. In status teams she wins. In neutral teams Shorekeeper stays strong.
Q.Do you need her signature weapon?
No. Her signature, Firstlight's Herald, is the best option, but Stellar Symphony and Variation both reach the Energy Regen she needs. The signature is an upgrade, not a requirement.
Q.Does SuiSui replace Chisa?
In the Hiyuki and Lucilla team, yes. She takes the support slot. Chisa pairs better with Xuanling in the Havoc Bane team instead.
Q.Should you pull Xuanling or SuiSui if you can only afford one?
Pick Xuanling if you need a carry. Pick SuiSui if you have carries and want a support that ages well.
