Zenless Zone Zero 2.8 is slated to introduce two new characters to the game: Promeia and Starlight Billy.
Promeia is an S-Rank Ice Anomaly Agent in Zenless Zone Zero whose kit is all about building up Ice Anomaly fast and then cashing it out for big burst damage at the right moment. Her gameplay leans into stacking Freeze and other Ice-related effects, then ramping up damage when enemies are stunned or staggered, where she can unload her damage in short, explosive windows.

Starlight Billy is an S-rank Physical Rupture DPS from the Cunning Hares faction. He's a main DPS who uses his bicycle to unleash flashy and snappy attacks.

Zenless Zone Zero 2.8 will also feature Agent reruns for Lucia, and Orphie and Magus, giving players another chance to pull for returning characters.
Lucia is an S-Rank Ether Support Agent from the Spook Shack faction, designed around Dream Points, Ether Veil buffs, and Aftershock-style support damage amplification.
Orphie is a Fire Attack-class character who mainly functions in dual DPS setup, providing great personal damage, and impressive buffs.
Zenless Zone Zero version 2.8 is scheduled to release on May 6, 2026, following the game’s standard update cycle after maintenance.
The update is expected to go live globally around 11:00 AM (UTC+8), though exact timing may vary slightly depending on server rollout. This version highlights the release of Promeia and Starlight Billy, and agent reruns for Lucia and Orphie and Magus.
