Basic Attack
Velina's Basic Attack can do two different things depending on whether it's pressed or held. Hitting the fifth Basic Attack and then holding the Normal Attack consumes two Assist Points, allowing you to trigger an Assist Follow-Up.
As for the more important component of her Basic Attack, Eye of the Storm, Velina unleashes a Gale Field, a tornado that deals continuous damage to enemies for five seconds. This also triggers the Quick Assist of the previous character.
Eye of the Storm requires 90 Wind Energy or more. Hold the Basic Attack, or hold the Special Attack or EX Special Attack to trigger it.
Dodge
Like any other agent, Velina has a standard set of Dodge Attacks. These are mainly for survival and are not heavily tied to any of her important abilities.
Breezeflow (Dodge): A quick dash that grants invulnerability.
Wind Step (Dash Attack): A forward strike during a dodge that deals Wind DMG.
Cloud Breaker (Dodge Counter): A multi-hit attack after a Perfect Dodge that deals Wind DMG and grants invulnerability.
Assist
Quick Assist – Emergency Protocol: Triggers when the active character is launched, unleashing a series of Wind DMG attacks with invulnerability.
Assist Follow-Up – Negotiation Technique: Follows a Defensive Assist with consecutive Wind DMG attacks, also with invulnerability.
Special Attack
Press EX Special to trigger Wind Shear – Rising Clarity.
Instead of relying on dodges or parries, this ability lets Velina evade by dashing backward while also launching a wind projectile. Successfully evading an attack triggers Vital View, allowing her to chain directly into the fifth hit of her Basic Attack.
Additionally, Velina can hold her EX Special after Rising Clarity, Assist Follow-Up, Dodge Counter, or Quick Assist to continuously deal damage with her fan. Pressing the Basic Attack will then chain into the fifth hit of her Basic Attack.
Ultimate
When Decibel Rating is at Maximum, press Ultimate to activate:
When a Chain Attack is triggered, select the character to activate:
Transforms into a hurricane, unleashing consecutive attacks on enemies, followed by a Finishing Move, dealing massive Wind DMG.
Character is invulnerable while using this skill.
ZZZ Velina Core Passives
Velina’s Core Passive sits at the center of ZZZ Velina kit, just like most agents in the game.
For every point of Energy Regen exceeding 1, she gains bonus Anomaly Mastery, scaling up to a maximum of 120. On top of that, this passive enables her unique [Wind Energy] resource, which can stack up to 135. Entering the field or using EX Special Attacks grants her 45 [Wind Energy].
This passive also unlocks the [Dye] effect. When Velina’s tornadoes hit enemies affected by Fire, Ice, Electric, Physical, or Ether, they convert into tornadoes of the corresponding attribute and deal that attribute’s damage.
Additionally, enemies hit by her tornadoes suffer a 20% reduction to Wind Anomaly Buildup RES, along with the corresponding Anomaly Buildup RES after [Dye], lasting for 30 seconds.
Velina is also capable of dealing Abloom damage, and this happens when her little wind currents and gale field hit an enemy under wind attribute anomaly.
Finally, triggering Vortex provides Enhancement points. When Velinahas two, the next time she triggers Vortex, its damage multiplier will be increased by 750%, and will summon Gale Field instead of Little Wind Currents.
Additional Ability
When another squad member is an [Anomaly] character or shares the same attribute, Velina’s [Windswept] and [Vortex] DMG increases by 15%.
When activating her [Ultimate], Velina gains 2 [Enhancement Points].
In [Core Passive: Angel & Witch], the Anomaly Buildup RES reduction from [Gale Field] is increased by an additional 8%.
