For ZZZ 3.0 banners leaks, there is currently no confirmed banner order. However, based on the drip marketing sequence, Velina is expected to headline the first phase, with Norma likely following in the second.
Pyrois, meanwhile, remains an outlier. With no confirmed rarity and Belle and Wise featured alongside him, many players believe he could be treated differently, potentially coming out as a free character rather than through the standard gacha system.
If you’re short on pulls to secure one or all of these Agents, fret not, as there are affordable ZZZ top up available to help you get ready.
ZZZ 3.0 Characters Overview
ZZZ 3.0’s upcoming characters are confirmed to be Pyrois, Velina, and Norma. Here’s what is known about them so far.
Pyrois leaks in Zenless Zone Zero
Although the recent drip marketing confirmed Pyrois is an Ether Attack agent, there is not much information about his rarity.
Between Pyrois, which belongs to the Phaeton faction, where Belle and Wise belong, and the proxies standing behind it, one can only speculate that they're closely tied to each other, both in lore and possibly in combat.
Pyrois was first teased during the ZZZ Season 3 dev talk. As the developers mentioned, “The power that’s been hidden inside Phaeton all along, or what we call the legacy of Helios Academy, will officially make its appearance to everyone in the form of the Etheric Other, Pyrois.”
From what it suggests, everything points to references from Greek mythology. Helios, the Greek sun god, is said to travel from east to west each day on a golden chariot drawn by four horses: Pyrois (“The Fiery One”), Aeos or Eous (“He of the Dawn”), Aethon (“Blazing”), and Phlegon (“Burning”).
In the game, Eous assists Phaeton and acts as their safeguard when entering the Hollows. With Pyrois now revealed, it seems likely that it could serve a similar role.
As for his kit, the only thing known as of now is that Pyrois is the second Ether Attack agent in ZZZ. No leaks have surfaced yet about what his skills, core passive and mindscapes look like.
Is Pyrois a free agent in Zenless Zone Zero?
Right now, there’s no confirmed info on whether Pyrois will be free or a Limited Agent.
Due to Pyrois being closely tied to Phaeton, many players speculate that it could be a free agent obtainable through story progression. That said, HoYoverse has yet to confirm any of these details.
Velina leaks in Zenless Zone Zero
Hailing from Roscaelifer, Velina is the first confirmed Wind character in Zenless Zone Zero. She's an S-rank Wind Anomaly agent.
Wind is the new attribute set to be officially introduced in Version 3.0. According to reliable leaker Leifa, details on how the Wind element works have been shared.
Wind damage applies Weathered and Erosion effects. Weathered causes interruption and Wind damage, while Erosion increases the target’s Wind direct damage taken for 20 seconds. If another attribute hits a target affected by Erosion for the first time, it triggers Infusion, further boosting direct damage from that attribute for a short duration.
This element will also introduce the Catalysis effect. Like Disorder, Catalysis triggers if another attribute anomaly is applied to a target with Wind anomaly. Catalysis deals AoE damage, and infusion effect.
Velina's kit though is still unknown. However, due to how the Wind attribute works, there is a possibility of her having synergies with other Anomaly DPS units such as Promeia and Miyabi. That said, all of this remains speculation. More information will be available once beta leaks are released, so check back for updates as this article will be updated when new details surface.
If you're planning to pull for multiple Agents in Version 3.0, it's important to prepare enough ZZZ Monochromes in advance!
Norma leaks in Zenless Zone Zero
Much like Velina, Norma is one of three ZZZ 3.0 characters from Roscaelifer and the faction, External Strategy Department. She's an S-rank Fire Stun agent.
Besides her being a hotheaded Chief Technician, there's not much known about how her kit looks like.
Should you pull agents in ZZZ 3.0?
Looking at these ZZZ 3.0 banners leaks, the start of Season 3 is looking stacked. Of course, there are plenty of reasons to either pull or skip these upcoming characters in Zenless Zone Zero, but should you use your precious pulls on them?
Currently, it is too early to determine their pull value from a meta perspective. It is still unknown what roles Pyrois and Velina will fill. As for Norma, there is currently no clear idea of how she compares to other strong Stunners in the game, such as Dialyn.
But if your goal is to save for the strongest character in 3.0, it is recommended to save for Ramiel, the next Void Hunter. However, there is a chance that they could be her best-in-slot teammates, so be sure to watch out for their kits.
