FUT 20 – Professional Players Icon Swap Choices

Icon swaps are a new FUT 20 feature. Did you already have your eyes on an Icon player or are you still deciding? Maybe knowing what professional players have picked will make the decision easier. Here is what some of the professional FUT 20 players have answered when asked which Icon swap did they go for. All these players are competing in the Global Series Tournament. 

LostInTheWavesz is a professional FUT 20 player from Germany. He is with the DFB eFootball team. LostInTheWavesz picked Rio Ferdinand. The center back started playing in 1995 for West Ham United. He also played for Leeds United, Manchester United, and Queens Park Rangers.

Ferdinand was part of the national English team and he is one of the English players that have received the most awards. His 85 OVR base Icon card has the following attributes: 84 pacing, 48 shooting, 65 passing, 70 dribbling, 84 defending, and 83 physical.

A surprise came from Vitality Maestro. The French player who has one World Champions eNations Cup titles under his belt said he doesn't do Icon swaps. He said he finds it too hard if you are in the Division 1 rivals. However, he said that his choice would also be Ferdinand because he is a very good defender.

DullenMIKE is one of the youngest players in this year's Global Series. He started competing last year when he was just the right age to take part in the tournament. At 16 years old, he was the youngest player to win a professional EA SPORTS FUT competition. Not a bad way to your career as a professional e-sports player. He picked Ronaldinho for the Icon swap.

Ronaldo de Assis Moreira by his real name is considered a football legend. He played for Paris Saint-Germain, A.C. Milan, Barcelona, and several other teams. He was also part of the Brazilian national team. The base Ronaldinho Icon card has 89 OVR and 80 pacing, 85 shooting, 88 passing, 90 dribbling, 38 defending, and 77 physical.

FUTWIZ Jamie from Adelaide, South Australia went with Gheorghe Hagi. He played for several national teams and Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Galatasaray. He was part of the national Romanian team and often nicknamed The Maradona of the Carpathians. In the game, he is a center attacking midfielder with 91 OVR and 83 pacing, 89 shooting, 90 passing, 90 dribbling, 43 defending, and 65 physical. Qflash Gamer also picked Ferdinand because he said he was the best choice from the current Icon swap batch.
