FUT 20 – MLS Season 2020 and Simulation Results03/23/2020
FUT 20 is the only place where you can take part in the 25th edition of the MLS season. The 2020 edition began on February 29th and was supposed to end on October 4th. Unfortunately, not even two weeks into the competition the season was stopped due to the coronavirus outbreak. Starting March 12th, the MLS season is suspended for a month.
However, there's no confirmation that it will be resumed after this month passes. It all depends on the development of the pandemic outbreak. But that doesn't mean that you cannot get your daily dose of MLS. Thanks to FUT 20, you can take part in this tournament.
The MLS season within FUT 20 is a mode that lets players experience the excitement of the real tournament. There is no other football-based game that offers this option. You can use the MLS teams and players in other game modes as well. You can play with them when you are engaging in a casual match of Volta with friends.
You can also play it in Kick-Off mode. If you want to take control of an MLS club and dominate the MLS Cup, you can do so in Career mode. The teams, jerseys, team logo, and everything are updated to match the 2020 lineup. It will be like you are on the field yourself thanks to the elements that contribute to the authentic experience. There are broadcast packages and various themes that you can use to customize your club as you see fit.
FUT 20 is not just the place to play MLS but also a handy tool that can be used for simulations. The people from the official MLS Soccer website simulated Week 3 matches using the game. Atlanta United won against Sporting KC with 2-1. Orlando City won against Chicago Fire FC with 3-0. Real Salt Lake won against Columbus Crew SC with the same result. FC Cincinnati vs. D.C. United ended in a draw.
Minnesota United won against New York Red Bulls with 2-0. The Portland Timbers vs. New England Revolution match ended 3-1. The same result was obtained for FC Dallas vs. NYCFC. The Seattle Sounders won with 5-1 against Houston Dynamo. Philadelphia Union beat San Jose Earthquakes with 1-0. Colorado Rapids vs. Vancouver Whitecaps ended in a draw. Two games couldn't be simulated because Inter Miami and Nashville SC are not in the game.
What do you think of the simulation? Do you believe it is accurate?
