What You Need to Know About the Last Major World of Warcraft Legion Patch 7.32017-09-05 14:22
Come August 30, 2017, World of Warcraft adventurers are given the chance to free Azeroth from the Burning Legion as the last major patch goes live. Patch 7.3 called Shadow of Argus puts an ending to the story that began one year earlier when the Legion expansion was released. The final patch means that the game won't be receiving any major updates anymore, only fixes and improvements. Blizzcon is approaching and there is a small chance that the new World of Warcraft expansion will be teased at the event but it's too early for that as players still have unfinished business with the Burning Legion.
Planet Argus becomes the war theater for the last part of the campaign against the Legion. This is Legion's birthplace, the seat of their power. Argus is also the place from where the Draenei race originated. It's the first time in World of Warcraft's history when players have the chance to visit it. What once was a place of wonder and the home of superior beings has been transformed by the fel magic. It's time to put an end to it. Patch 7.3 features new zones to explore on Argus. Even if players will be busy fighting the Legion, they will still get a glimpse of the planet and imagine how it was before the Legion's corruption.
Two World of Warcraft characters that have been missing for a long time are joining the fight. Turalyon and Alleria Windrunner come aid adventurers. Army of the Light is the newest World of Warcraft faction so players can expect tons of new quests and tasks to gain their favors. The Seat of the Triumvirate is a new dungeon. The three important World of Warcraft figures that had the headquarters there are none other than Archimonde, Kil'jaeden, and Velen. Players gain access to a feature that allows them to customize the relics of their artifact weapons. They also get to be in control of a Draenei ship. Details about the new raid are not yet revealed.
