Surviving in Garena Undawn is not a walk in the park—especially since the park is infested with zombies and other ne’er-do-wells!

Logger

The Logger role is all about harvesting wood and developing your carpentry skills. Aside from being super efficient with logging, like getting more wood than usual or being able to maintain your axe better, you also get to build furniture. Most importantly, the Logger role is your key to building a better Homestead!

As a Logger, these are your natural traits: Logging Skill, Professional Carpentry, Durable Cleaver, and Carpenter Blueprint.

Miner

If the Logger’s domain is with wood, the miner’s expertise focuses on ores. The Miner role lets you mine raw materials like stone and ores more efficiently. You’ll also get to unlock blueprints that can craft items from these materials.

Miner’s natural traits: Mining Skill, Artisan Spirit, Super Pickaxe, and Furniture Blueprint.

Gatherer

When you’re in a zombie apocalypse, you’ll gather and receive anything Mother Nature throws at you. Whether it’s seeds, veggies, or plant fibers, anything is fair game to an expert Gatherer! Aside from gathering, you can also learn how to craft wallpapers, dyes, and plant furniture.

Gatherer’s natural traits: Gathering Skill, Expert Herbalist, Plant Furniture, and Decoration Blueprint.

Hunter

This role lets you hunt for prey, which gives you meat that can be used for cooking. Just like the previous roles, the better your Hunter role is, the more meat you can get during hunts. You’ll also be able to find rarer materials the more you work on this role. The great thing about improving this role is that you’ll also improve your fitness, endurance, and resistance, which makes you less hungry while out hunting and less likely to get critical damage when hit.

Hunter role’s natural traits: Hunting Skill, Wilderness Survival, Excellent Fitness, and Comprehensive Specimen Collection.

Angler

The Angler role is all about fishing. While fishing mainly nets you fish that you can cook for food, you can sometimes get lucky and reel in valuable items like treasure chests and mission-related things like socks and car keys. So it’s important to level up your Angler role as soon as you can. The more skilled you are at this role, the more rarer fish and items you get at a faster rate.

These are the natural traits of the Angler role: Fishing Skill, Unique Fish Bait, Auto-Fishing, and Precious Fish Species.

Chef

In a zombie-infested post-apocalyptic world, you definitely need to eat to survive! Can’t let the zombies be the only ones eating after all.

The Chef role is one of the most important Garena Undawn roles in the game. It lets you cook and prepare dishes that can give you and others a boost in stats. For example, properly made dishes can leave you feeling full longer and can even give an HP bonus. Other things a high-level Chef role can do are double up portions (by luck), carry more water storage, and learn fun and unique recipes (aloe vera egg tart, anyone?).

Scavenger

The Scavenger is another important role that you need to level up as soon as you can. Not only does it let you find more items than usual (like finding miscellaneous item chests), but it also lets you survive the harsh world of Garena Undawn better by having a high tolerance for hunger, eating spoiled food, and sickness.

On top of that, you can lockpick things, have a higher crit hit rate, and fight well without any weapons. Because when you’re a vagabond, beggars can’t be choosers.

Important Note: You can level up the Scavenger role in one area only—the Scavenger Settlement. Make sure you pick that area when doing Settlement Missions.

Here are the natural traits of the Scavenger role: Beggars Can’t Be Choosers, Vagabond, Vagabond Soul, and Exposed to the Elements.

Firearms Master

Being good at gathering items and eating well sounds great and all. But in a zombie-infested world, you gotta know how to fight too. The Firearms Master is the role you’ll depend on when it comes to pew-pew-pewing zombies. You’ll be able to craft guns, ammunition, and other special weapons. You’ll also be very good at using said firearms!

Firearms Master’s natural traits: Firearms Proficiency, Firearm Paint Finishes, Exclusive Gun Model, and Arms Trade.

Highwayman

The Highwayman role can help you travel around the vast world of Undawn. You get to modify vehicles, make your vehicles more durable, reduce fuel consumption, and even have a little radio in your car. After all, good tunes are important in a zombie apocalypse!

Highwayman’s natural traits: Professional Driver, Modifications Master, Mobile Radio Station, and Automatic Drive.

Troubadour

Life’s tough when everywhere is filled with zombies. Thankfully, the Troubadour role can bring a nice respite through songs. This role lets you carry musical instruments, collect music scores, and play songs that give buffs to your teammates. Increased Max HP, skill strength, and armor? Heck yeah!

Troubadour’s natural traits: Heartfelt Performer, Power of Music, Album Recorder, and Collect Music Scores.
