Inventory LoL Skin Releasing in 2024

League of Legends is a beloved franchise and has maintained its relevance in an ever-expanding world of games and genres. While some might say MOBAs are out of style, they’re actually better than ever with a variety of game modes, characters, and mechanics.

Oh, and skins. We can’t forget about those tempting, intricately designed skins. League of Legends is a champion skins connoisseur and in 2024, players have a lot to add to their collections.

Today, we’re breaking down everything we know about the latest and greatest skins coming to League of Legends in 2024. This won’t be a full 2024 list preview since there’s still a lot we don’t know for the latter half of the year, but there’s still plenty to dive into before then.

That said, let’s take a look at some of the upcoming skins in League of Legends for 2024!

Brand New ASUs For 2024

Besides the thematic Mythic and exclusive Prestige skins, League of Legends devs have been hard at work at a couple of new ASUs for specific Champions. If you weren’t aware, Art and Sustainability Updates (ASUs) are when the devs essentially ‘rework’ a character cosmetically.

This includes their voice lines, animations, base skins, outfits, and other aspects of their design. Since there’s an ever-growing selection of Champions to choose from, not every Champ gets a fair shot at the latest skins and can look pretty outdated.

So League of Legends devs are giving them a spa treatment, bringing them back to speed in 2024 from their outdated kits from the last decade.

In the Season 2024 Look Ahead update video released in January 2024, League of Legends devs gave us a glimpse of what to expect for the year. And this includes skins and ASUs.

For now, we have knowledge of two new ASUs coming in 2024. Firstly, devs have mentioned that ‘Lee Sin’, the masterful blind monk’s ASU is in its final phase and features reworks to the character’s animations, skins, and more.

Lee Sin’s ASU is scheduled to be released in early May 2024 so it’s good news for Lee Sin mains!

Additionally, they’ve also unveiled the other character getting an ASU is ‘Teemo’, the adorable Yordle scout. However, they also noted that Teemo’s ASU is ‘taking longer than intended’ as the dev team ran into some issues.

There’s no official word on when Teemo’s ASU will be live but they’ve stated to expect an update to the announcement later in the year.

The New Mythic Skins Themes

In 2024, so far we’ve had a look at three brand-new Mythic skins each with their own distinct designs and themes.

We’ve seen the Primal Ambush skins, Heavenscale, and Crystalis Indomitus.

The Heavenscale skins were designed in celebration of the Lunar New Year, paying homage to ‘the rich cultural history of the holiday’. The story behind the Skins follows deities who descended to the Earth from their ‘heavenly’ palaces above the clouds to celebrate with the mortals below.

The skins followed true to the ancient historical contexts with red, gold, and jade colorways and elements. So far, these characters were available with the new Heavenscale skins released in Patch 14.3 –

  • Divine Heavenscale Lee Sin / Heavenscale Lee Sin
  • Prestige Heavenscale Ezreal / Heavenscale Ezreal
  • Heavenscale Diana
  • Heavenscale Janna
  • Heavenscale Master Yi
  • Heavenscale Kai’Sa

The Primal Ambush skins were themed after ferocious beasts of the jungle and masters of combat. Many of the skin’s design choices and elements were based on the Southeast Asia region’s fashion, history of martial arts, and of course, the home to majestic tigers.

The Primal Ambush skin was available in Patch 14.2 with these characters receiving the skin –

  • Primal Ambush Vi
  • Primal Ambush Sivir
  • Primal Ambush Riven
  • Primal Ambush Talon

The most recent skin reveal is Crystalis Indomitus which was unveiled in the latest League of Legends dev update in February. Crystalis Indomitus is based in the ‘Magicae Prismatica’ universe where natives of Crystalis Motus in the ‘untamed wilds’ are consumed by crystals and have lost their sense of being.

For now, we have confirmation that these champions are receiving the new Crystalis Indomitus-themed skins –

  • Kha’Zix in March 2024
  • Xerath in April 2024
  • Nautilus in August 2024

Prestige Skins

League of Legends devs have also dived into the upcoming character that’ll receive the Prestige skin treatment. In their ‘Season 2024 Look Ahead’ year preview video, they revealed that these characters are getting Prestige skins –

  • Rakan (Patch 14.1)
  • Ezreal (Patch 14.3)
  • Kindred (Patch 14.4)
  • Eveyln (ETA Patch 14.6)
  • Kayle  (ETA Patch 14.8)

In addition to these champions, League of Legends devs also released their latest dev update announcement. Here, they unveiled two more characters that are getting Prestige skins in 2024 –

  • Yuumi (ETA Patch 14.10)
  • Leona (ETA Patch 14.12)

For now, the first three Prestige skins for Rakan, Ezreal, and Kindred have already been released so we have 4 more champion Prestige skins to look forward to in the next few months.
