Changes in the Jungle

Apart from adjusting the strengths and weaknesses of the champions, the patch 14.8 will also adjust some neutral objectives in the jungle. The two main units to receive changes in the new LOL patch are the Voidgrubs and the Baron.

1. Voidgrubs:

Voidgrubs are getting a huge buff in the patch. Not only are they getting a damage buff, but the number of grubs required to spawn the first grub is also getting an increase.

In addition, their spawn time is adjusted so that players can no longer choose between the Voidgrubs and Dragon. This will make sure teams fight over these objectives at certain points instead of simply trading objectives.

2. Baron:

The bigger change here, however, is the change that’s coming to the iconic Baron, Nashor. Since the damage of the Baron is a little too unthreatening, the devs are buffing up his attack damage. The goal here is to make sure the team needs to fully commit as five men to take it down.

While the buff to Baron isn’t going to be overwhelming, Nashor is now going to be strong enough to kill your champ if you don’t go as a team. This will make the skirmishes around the Baron camp a lot more strategic.
