Complete the Quests
Every single day you play Undawn Garena, there’ll be a new set of daily quests to complete. If you want access to rewards easily, then make sure that you do the dailies. All of them. Most of them should be easy to complete, and you can probably get through the whole stack of dailies in under an hour of gameplay.
In addition to the daily quests, you’ll also want to make your way through the main story of the game, plus the story of any expansions that have been released. As you do, you’ll level up, get new skills, and unlock even more resources that you can use for your crafting.
Turn on Resources on the Map
Resources are everything in a survival game like Garena Undawn, and it is essential that you know exactly where they are. Thankfully, the game makes this easy for you. Open up the map and click the ‘leaf’ option. This will let you see the various resources on the map. It makes it easier to find exactly what you need as you progress through the game.

Even if you are not planning to look at the resources on the map, it is still important that you open up the map. It is vital that you get the lay of the land in game, so you’ll know exactly where everything is.
Keep Your Weapons Upgraded
One of the wonderful things about Undawn Garena is that there is no one ‘meta’ weapon. You can play with whatever you find in game, and you’ll have fun. The only thing that you should really be avoiding is using melee weapons beyond the first stages of the game. While they can be upgraded to have a bit more power, they’ll never come close to what a gun can do for you. You really don’t want to be standing too close to the in-game zombies, after all.
As time goes on, you’ll probably want to focus on a single weapon type. Get familiar with it, and then craft upgrades in game. After a certain point, the only way to get better weapons is to upgrade them, which is why it is so important that you spend your time collecting resources.
Keep an Eye on Your Health
As a survival game, one of the core mechanics in Garena Undawn will be your stats, e.g. health. Make sure that they are always topped up. This will ensure that things don’t get too hairy, and that your character doesn’t end up dying a premature death.
Enhance Your Equipment
Silvers is important in the game. You’ll be using silver to enhance your equipment. The more you enhance a piece of equipment, the more it’ll cost. So, make sure that you only upgrade what you need. As you play, you’ll become familiar with all the different equipment that you use the most, so all of your resources should be focused on making that equipment as good as possible.
Focus on Only a Few Skills
It is impossible to succeed in Garena Undawn by being a ‘well rounded’ player. When you get skill points, only focus on the skills that are most important to you. You’ll know your play style, so this shouldn’t be too tricky. If you spread your skill points too thin, then you won’t be able to kill most things on the map, and it is incredibly difficult (and expensive) to undo the skill points that you have enhanced.
Unlock Roles
As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock various roles e.g. gatherer, hunter, scavenger, etc. You can unlock all of them, but because you’ll need silvers to upgrade the roles, it is best to focus on just a few skills. You can rely on other players to help you with the rest.
