Albion Online Guide to Blue Hellgate

Albion Online Guide to Blue Hellgate

Hellgate in Albion Online is a team-based activity that lets you engage in PvP and PvE combats while you compete for Albion Online Silver, loot, treasure, and infamy. In Hellgate activities, the team sizes will always be the same, such as 2v2, 5v5, or 10v10 combats. Each of these has two kinds: Lethal and Non-Lethal. Lethal Maps are those where a player can be killed, and the loot can be acquired. You don’t have to lose items in non-lethal combats, but you will be knocked out. If the entire team is down, that team will be ejected from the Hellgate and return to the World of Albion. One of the least player-requiring zones and safest zones is the Bluezone Hellgate. In this blog, we’ll see where to find them, the general requirements, etc.

Why Blue Zones?

Blue Zones hold combats that are not as heartless as the others. Blue Zones are always 2v2 lethal combat. This means the loot is going to be partial. There is no gruesome death. The opponent can only knock out the other, take a part of your loot, and kick the rest of the team only if the other player is knocked out. The Blue Zone is a great option to protect your precious collections from loot items from other battles.

Entering the Albion Online Blue Zone

You can usually find Blue Zone Hellgate of Tier 4 near the area of the Royal Cities. Another way to get Albion Online Blue Hellgate is to purchase a Hellgate Ritual from the Market or create your Hellgate at the Artifact Foundry with the team size as 2 and setting no for the Lethal mode. Once you are done, it will create a Hellgate in the Nearby Region. For 20 Mins after this step, only the person who used the ritual can see the new entrance. It is marked on the world map and the region map. Once players get closer to it, they can see it too. Everyone in your team must click the entrance to channel a spell. Once this final step is done, you have reached the blue zone.

Requirements

To enter a Hellgate, you must meet the minimum base average item power requirement of the ritual and team size. The Bluezone Hellgate is one zone that needs much less item power and team size. The Blue Hellgate needs a minimum of 800 IP and a team of two players on both sides. It is to be noted that this IP does not include adjustments from things like Mastery or overcharged gears. The item cap of the 2v2, non-lethal battles is 900. For example, if a player who has 1000 IP enters into the Albion Online 2v2 Hellgate, their IP will automatically be reduced to 910.

Infamy

In the Blue Zone Hellgate, you can earn infamy by destroying monsters and NPCs, the same as in any other gate. Team victory can also increase the infamy. For every zone, the infamy collected is recorded separately. This infamy is used to find equal and more competitive opponents through matchmaking features in the next zone battle. On the other hand, losing a battle in the Hellgate may lead to a decrease in the infamy and bring you down with other weaker teams.

Raging Lava

If you get stuck in a Hellgate for so long and don’t complete it as soon as possible, the whole area will soon be covered in lava. As there is not enough space to accommodate all the invaders, the encroaching lava will damage and take in everything that stands in its path. At first, it will reduce the HP. But then, if you hang on for longer, you will become immune to CC damage.

Completing the Hellgate

You can complete this Blue Zone Hellgate by gaining enough infamy from killing monsters and destroying NPCs. Blue Zone Hellgate is a non-lethal one, so the required amount of infamy to win the battle differs. Where it is 500 for lethal gates, it is only 100 Infamy points for a non-lethal Hellgate, i.e. the Blue Zone, if there are no invaders. If there is no invasion, then the winning team completes the Hellgate.

Rewards

Soon after finishing the Hellgate, a marker will appear on your mini-map to show the location of the reward chest. This chest will have more valuable goods if you can win and complete the Hellgate with invasions and by defeating all of them rather than completing them without any invasion by an equal or stronger team than yours. Near the reward chest, you can find another entrance through which you go back to the world of Albion or sometimes even another Hellgate entrance from where you can find your way into another battle instead of purchasing another ritual or creating a new one in the Artifact Foundry.

Conclusion

This was just a basic guide to Albion Online Blue Hellgate. As simple as it can be, it is always important to remember that understanding the basics is the first part. Then comes the players, preparation, planning strategies, battles, and finally, victory.
