What is the Tank’s heroes in AoV
In order to start a clash, there should always be at least one to initiate the combat. This requires the melee hero with the toughest build or the highest HP. This is exactly what tanks do.

Both the first and second skills, Valiant Charge and Avalon’’s Fury, allow Thane to dash toward the enemy and deal a particular amount of damage and knocking them up for a short duration. What makes the two different is that his first skill allows him to hit four consecutive attacks that knock back the enemy upon hit. On the other hand, interrupting the casting of the second skill will restore half of the skill’s cooldown.
For his ultimate skill, Excalibur, Thane dashes as well and attacks enemies that can slow their movement speed. This is a great combo started when attacking with other damage dealers in the team.

Baldum
Baldum is known for his bones like steel and muscles like boulders making him one of the best tank heroes in the game. Aside from his tanky characteristics, he is also another good option as an initiator for clashes. Take a look at his skill.
Starting off with his first skill, Wild Charge. This skill allows Baldum to dash toward enemies. Upon contact with the first enemy, he stops and uses his totem to toss the enemy behind him isolating him from the enemy team.
Knowing that Baldum’s first skill can completely isolate one enemy, the second skill allows him to slow the enemy by 30% and also inflict damage. This prevents the enemy from escaping. Moreover, this skill can affect not only the isolated enemy but all enemies nearby upon casting.
Even better, Baldum’s ultimate ability has the capability of making the enemies immobile. When enemies are near and Baldum uses his ultimate skill, enemies that are contained inside a prison-like area for two seconds will be slowed by half of their original movement speed. This is a perfect opportunity to land AOE skills for free kills.

Xeniel
Talk about all-rounder heroes, Xeniel will surely be one of them. Although Xeniel is not the best to initiate clashes, he can still dominate the battlefield as he shines in both tank and support roles. His skill set is a great combination when it comes to crowd control while healing allies.
Xeniel’s first skill is called Divine Protection. Obviously, this skill will provide the hero with protection or a shield that can absorb incoming damage and also inflict damage by reactivating the skill after 2.5 seconds. Enemies affected by the shield explosion will also suffer from slowed movement speed for a second.
Moving on to the second skill which is called Malleus—casting this skill will allow Xeniel to leap on a specific area which inflicts damage while also stunning them for 1.25 seconds.
Finally, his ultimate ability is a combination of his first and second skills. Here, Xeniel can choose among his teammates who to grant a temporary damage reduction. Upon casting on an ally, Xeniel will take 2.2 seconds to jump onto the chosen ally’s location. His landing can cause magic damage to the enemy, heals the ally, and increases Xeniel’s movement speed by 40%.
