Genshin Impact: Henna Berry Locations

Henna Berries. 102 of them, and you need around 336 for both characters that use them as level-up/ascension materials – Faruzan and Candace. We’ll discuss more on them later, but both of these characters can be really strong in their niche teams if you get them at C6… which might entail using Genshin top up services to pull for them when they’re on a featured banner!

So, what’s the best way to farm this prickly fruit? Read on to find out.

Using Genshin Interactive Maps

If you’ve clicked on this article without knowing that these tools exist, we urge you to check them out. There are two tools available: Teyvat Interactive Map by Hoyoverse themselves, and the unofficial Genshin Impact Interactive Map.

Both of these are really good, and it just depends on your preference for what you’ll end up using. They have slight differences, but you won’t have issues using either. The Unofficial one does provide a lot of comments and images for puzzle solutions, chest locations, etc. However, the Hoyolab App offers images for materials such as the Henna Berry as well.

With these two tools at your disposal, you won’t really need to use any kind of farming route or similar – just open them up and start heading in the direction you see the most Henna Berries.

The Characters that Use Henna Berry

Candace and Faruzan – are both 4-star niche characters that are only used in a handful of teams, but can still be really useful in those teams.

If you want to build an Anemo DPS team around characters like Heizou, Xiao, or Wanderer – you practically “need” Faruzan as she is the best Anemo support in the game, period. At Constellation 6, she becomes an even bigger “monster” when it comes to buffing your Anemo team.

Candace is a bit more niche than Faruzan and doesn’t do anything especially well, but she’s great in Hyperbloom teams or a primarily “Bloom” team like Nilou, Candace, and two Dendro characters of your choice.

So, before you start farming for Genshin Impact Henna Berries because Faruzan and Candace look cool, please do your research and see if you actually need them for some of your teams, lest you get disappointed. Well, unless you’re getting them because you REALLY like how they look. And if you are, you can always buy a Genshin Impact account that has both of them at C6!

Farming Tips

These tips work generally for all resources in Genshin Impact and definitely hold true for Henna Berries in Genshin as well.

Tip #1 – Movement Abilities

As you may well know, there’s a variety of characters with tons of wildly different skills and abilities in the game. Some of these characters, like Yelan, Kazuha, Xianyun, and Wanderer have amazing movement abilities.

Tip #2 – Anemo Resonance

Not only that, but you can pair two Anemo units – for example, Wanderer and Sayu, for Anemo Resonance which gives 10% Movement SPD and 15% Less Sprint Stamina usage for your whole team, which is amazing.

Tip #3 – Movement SPD Passives

Then you have characters like Dehya, Chiori, or Kaeya who have movement SPD passives, etc. etc.

Use any combination of these characters to boost your farming speed significantly.

Tip #4 – The Ideal Team

If you have Tighnari, he provides a passive that will show where exactly the Henna Berries (And other Sumeru resources) are on the map. This can be quite useful at times.

If you have Nahida, she can use her Elemental Skill to “scan” and pick up anything she scans from a large distance, saving you the time to pick up some of the Henna Berries that are tucked away higher on some Cacti.

As for the ideal teams:

  • Nahida, Tighnari, Xianyun, Wanderer
  • Xianyun, Wanderer, Yelan, Nahida
  • Xianyun, Sayu, Yelan, Kaeya

These are just some examples, but you can follow the formula and tips from above to create the best team for you since rarely anyone will have all of these characteristics.

Henna Berry Routes

We didn’t want to mention Routes at the start of the article because we believe it more or less isn’t necessary, what with the help of the Interactive Maps… and in truth, we still don’t think that routes are necessary nor optimal.

“But how are they not optimal?!” – Because these routes will depend on many different things, not least of all upon your team composition.

If you’ve reached Sumeru/Sumeru Desert, you probably already have some of these characters but most likely not all of them, and depending on who you have and can use might drastically change the route speed and some shortcuts you can take – especially if you have Xianyun or The Wanderer.

Most of the Henna Berries are grouped together in areas, and with how quick and unlimited travel to domains, teleporters, and statues of the seven is – you can always just head to the various fast travel points in order to head to a different direction or jump to a distant one.

Conclusion

Farming Henna Berries is pretty easy if you use what we taught you here. Having a team based around exploration can go a long way to shortening the amount of time you spend on farming. Heck, just having Kaeya who is a guaranteed free character in your team is certain to boost your farming speed. Couple Kaeya with 2 Anemo units – especially if you got Lynette (Free guaranteed character) and Sayu, a 4-star Anemo unit, you’re going to zoom around the map and be done with all of the 102 Henna Berries very easily.

The fact remains that “Farming Routes” for most materials are obsolete in Genshin nowadays since you have a lot of different units and ways to traverse the wide, beautiful world of Genshin Impact. Combined with the Interactive Maps that can show you exactly where these materials are, farming has never been easier. The only hard part is having to wait 2-6 days for these berries to respawn if you want to get both Candace and Faruzan to level 90.
