The Avenger is a type of special aircraft that has a very sleek look to it. However, it is not just used for flying across the map. This plane has an Operations Terminal that is crucial to this mission.
Once you find this terminal, you will be able to log in to start the special Grand Theft Auto V mission. You can either select the Project Overthrow or the LSA Operations option. Once done so, you will be introduced to Charlie Reed and therefore your first GTA 5 mission. These missions will always be accessed through the Operations Terminal on the Avenger plane, so keep that in mind!
But how do you even unlock the Operations Terminal anyway? Well, the terminal is an interior upgrade for the Avenger. This can be bought either by Charlie Reed himself when you are inside the Hangar, or whenever you are customizing the Avenger in Charlie’s upgrade menu. If the Hangar still hasn’t been unlocked yet, then you can also buy the terminal when upgrading an Avenger on the popular Warstock Cache & Carry website whenever you’d like.
When you get the Hangar, you will have access to a ton of unique facilities and storage to use. The Hangar is primarily used for the Avenger, as it can be upgraded, customized, and stored here. You can also have the ability to upgrade your personal weapons at the MK II Weapons Workshop. There is even an option to smuggle cargo for a small fee whenever you need it!
As guessed, the functions of the Avenger plane are incredibly important when it comes to these GTA V missions. The Avenger can be used whenever you’d like with it being very easy to call for use by using the Services on your phone. While owning the Hangar is not a requirement for usage, it is still recommended for access to upgrades and customizations. Some upgrades can range from helping with stealth to going into battle guns blazing!
Now we get into the main two mission types themselves. The first that you can choose is called Project Overthrow. This mission type, however, contains six other GTA 5 missions in total. These can include rescues, robbing equipment, and straight-up attacking a full-on oil war machine! This mission type is completely focused on tearing down Mayweather Security and overthrowing them in surprise!
The next mission type is the LSA Operations. This type only contains three contract GTA5 missions instead to make it a bit shorter. However, this doesn’t make them any less exciting and action-packed. Some of these tasks include jumping out of a plane at night, to blowing up security installments. These missions require a bit more stealth and coordination compared to Project Overthrow, but it certainly makes it a fun challenge for all players!
As you complete the tasks for each GTA V mission, you will begin to earn special rewards depending on how you perform. Simply completing one Project Overthrow mission for example rewards you with the LS Angels cap. However, completing all GTA 5 missions on Hard difficulty unlocks rewards such as a cool Avenger Livery, an LS Angels hoodie and T-shirt, and of course, lots of money and RP!
It is worth mentioning that completing Tier 4 of the San Andreas Mercenaries GTA5 missions is quite difficult. This requires not only completing every mission on Hard mode, but also doing it while not taking less than 50% of damage, not using snacks or armor, and completing each mission with 80% accuracy.
