Lost Ark: New Action-RPG MMO

There came an Action-RPG inspired by the massively hit Dungeon Crawler game Diablo in 2019, but it had limited access to the countries of Korea and Japan. Several months later, an open beta for this game was released in Russia. Now the famous and acclaimed game has been finally released to audiences worldwide, it is starting to make waves amongst gamers who own a gaming PC since it is a PC exclusive.

The name of the game is Lost Ark, which Tripod Studio and Smilegate developed. It seems or even acts like a Diablo clone, but it is a much more involved game compared to the likes of Diablo, where the player is required to possess an extra amount of patience and dedication to fully understand its reward systems.

These reward systems involve many currencies, and it would be wise to find more game currencies related to the game in order to gain a clear edge on your gameplay and ranking. With this little introduction out of the way, we will now delve into the details of the game and explore what makes this new Diablo-inspired MMO so unique and addictive.

Unique Gameplay

As has been explained above, the gameplay of Lost Ark is completely inspired by Diablo, where players who crave that Diablo itch will be relieved to know that this game scratches every parameter.

The game’s map is also exponentially big, focusing on the Player vs. Environment (PvE) and exploration aspects, which consist of questing, achievement hunting, crafting, etc. Players start by customizing their character and selecting their class (which we will get into later), after which they level up and complete the game’s main storyline. It is also worth noting that Player vs Player (PvP) elements are also present within the game.

Once the player character has reached Level 50, tiered endgame dungeons and raids will be unlocked, after which progression will be tied to the character’s gear score, which you can enhance by visiting the Lost Ark shop present in-game or at U7BUY where the most affordable and budget-friendly rates are offered to players all around the world.

Different Classes – Different Gameplay

One important thing to note is that there are six main classes that you can play from, with further subdivisions of the classes that the player can choose to play from.

The first one is the traditional Warrior Class acting as the brute-fighters of Arkesia. They may not be the most agile of fighters, but they sure stand their ground and make a big impact. Their subclasses consist of Berserker, Paladin, Gunlancer (a unique take on Gunslinger and Lancer), Destroyer, and Slayer.

The next is the Martial Artist Class, where these quick-footed fighters like to rush the enemy with combined attacks at lethal speeds that can only be described as breakneck. Their subclasses consist of Striker, Glaiver, Wardancer, Scrapper, Soulfist, and Breaker.

Up next is the Gunner Class where they wield either high-tech weapons or bows and arrows that never jam and an eagle eye must be kept on them, else they will unleash their worst shot on their enemies. Their subclasses consist of Gunslinger, Artillerist, Deadeye, Sharpshooter and Machinist.

With the Mage Class, these Mystical Conjurers tap into the ancient magic of Arkesia to cast deadly spells on evil forces, heal the wounded, or provide support to the allies with their subclasses being Bard, Sorceress, Arcanist, and Summoner.

The Assassin Class invokes the power of darkness to fight with darkness, serving as a bastion of light in the shadows with their quick and colorful attacks. Their subclasses consist of Shadowhunter, Deathblade, Reaper, and Souleater.

Lastly, the final Class is known as the Specialist Class, where they are able to tap into the ancient mysticism of the Yoz Race, calling upon the magic of the elements and the arts. Compared to the other five Classes, which consist of both Melee and ranged Fighters, this Specialist Class only consists of Melee Fighters, with the Artist and the Aeromancer being the only subclasses available.

As it is present in most MMO games, you cannot unlock all the characters at the start, so you will need to use your Lost Ark gold to make the best use of your characters and their classes in-game.

Engaging Story

MMORPG Games are usually known for their long and expansive stories that cover at least three to four expansions, the same case can be said for the game Lost Ark as well since it is a story-focused game that involves the player and the realm of Arkesia. You can visit their website or see their YouTube videos for more details on the Lore and the Story of the game.

Conclusion

At the end of the day, Lost Ark is an engaging and addictive Action MMO that aims to engage the player and scratch that Diablo itch that almost every player craves.
