New Punishing Gray Raven Characters, Weapons, & Coatings
With The Floating Reverie version of Punishing: Gray Raven comes one new A-Star character, a new weapon, and a few coatings for some weapons and character skins. Check out each below:
New Punishing Gray Raven Character
In The Floating Reverie version, the new character entering the fray this time is Hanying: Zitherwoe, a Folding Fan weapon user who’s a Support class character. Not only does PGR Hanying: Zitherwoe have skills to heal allies and her team, but she can also enhance herself and allies with buffs.
Though PGR Hanying: Zitherwoe is an A-rank character, she’s plenty capable and is a solid choice if you’re missing out on a dependable support unit. And the good news is being an A-rank character, she’s easier to obtain than usual S-rank units.
As usual, she has a 100% rate up in the ‘Member Target’ pull and will be available from 8th April 2024 – 6 May 2024.
Punishing Gray Raven New Weapon
The Floating Reverie update also includes Hanying: Zitherwoe’s Signature Folding Fan weapon, ‘Perpetuity’. Perpetuity increases PGR Hanying: Zitherwoe’s ATK by 10% and allows her to immediately cast another ping during the action of pinging another orb. This effect can only happen once.
Additionally, Emerald Flow’s base DMG increase effect from each stack is increased by 40%.
Overall, a powerful Signature Weapon that can complete your Hanying: Zitherwoe build. You can obtain Perpetuity in the ‘Target Weapon’ pull with an 80% rate increase.
Punishing Gray Raven New Coatings
In addition to the new character and Signature weapon, there are a few coatings for both weapon and characters:
Character Coatings:
- Heartseeker – Exclusive Character Coating for Hanying: Zitherwoe. Costs 68 RC with a 30% discount. Available until 8th May 2024.
- Mesketet – Exclusive SFX Coating for Vera: Garnet. Costs 168 RC with a 30% discount. Available until 8th May 2024.
Weapon Coatings:
- Ankh – Banner Spear Weapon type Coating. Costs 28 RC with a 30% discount. Available until 8th May 2024.
- Budding Wish – Scythe Weapon type Coating. Requires purchase of ‘Top-secret Intel’ in the ‘Tactical Assessment Manual’. Once access is available, it requires a 40 rating level to unlock the Budding Wish coating. Available until 9th May, 2024.
Punishing Gray Raven New Story Content
Besides the new character and weapon, The Floating Reverie also continues the game’s story with the E04 chapter. However keep in mind to access said story content, you will need to reach a Commandant Lvl. greater than 40.
In terms of what the story content is about, you’re delved deep into a dream where you’re not sure if you’re in a trance or reality venturing through the lost memories of PGR Hanying and the Church of Machina.
And of course, you’ll have a better idea about what PGR Hanying has gone through to reach that point, even if reliving the harrowing truth of suffering could be too much to handle.
There are a total of 8 combat stages for players to get through and upon clearing them, each stage will reward 30x Black Cards. So completing the story will earn you some Black Cards you can use to pull for characters or weapons.
The PGR Floating Reverie Update Events & Rewards
Here’s a quick rundown on some of the available events and rewards you can earn from playing them:
- Skylark Nightsong – The new mini-game event where you need to complete a maze in Constellia. This unlocks rewards and ‘romantic conversations’ with your Constructs.
- System Shock – A rematch with the latest boss added to the game, Fu Shen. There are 5 stages of difficulties to complete and the Boss will become a more powerful variant with new skills for you to learn and counter.
- Dream of Nanke & Lone Mountain Merchant – Multiple ‘Dream of Nanke’ stages to clear that award the ‘Fallen Flower’ currency. You can use ‘Fallen Flower’ to obtain materials, Memory Shards, partial 6-star Memory sets, and more in the Lone Mountain Merchant shop.
- Operation Uniframe – Test your reflexes as Operation Uniframe gives you a crash course in Parry and Speed Attack skills. You can obtain Unipower Modules, Trade Vouchers, and other materials while completing this event.
- Inner World – Mirage Home – 5 new chapters added to the Inner World game mode where you need to strategically engage in Downstream and Upstream phases. Among other rewards, you can also earn new chat stamps!
- Reflection – Pathfinder – A new addition to the ‘Push Box’ game mode that introduces a new mechanic that lets you and your shadow work together in the event! You can earn collectibles and decor sets through this event.
