Rainbow Six Siege: How to Use the Drone

Check out the R6 account for sale at U7BUY! Drones are gadgets used by the Attackers in Rainbow Six Siege. They are essential to figuring out where to go next and where the enemy team is located. Whenever you are unsure where to go or how close an enemy is to you in R6, it is always best to launch out a drone just in case.

Unlike the real life drones you may be thinking of, Rainbow Six Siege’s drones are actually on wheels! When launching one, you will be able to drive it around and view what it is seeing through its camera. The Rainbow Six Siege drone is incredibly small, making it easy to sneak around when using it and fit into small spaces.

Every single R6 Attacker on their team has at least 2 R6 drones at the start of a match. While in the prep phase of the match, every player will activate their first drone. This is to be able to scout out where the Defender team is and where to head to. All Rainbow Six Siege Attackers will have about 45 seconds total to find out where the objective is located, so it’s best to find it quickly!

After the 45 seconds are up, you still aren’t done with your drones. They can also be used as useful cameras to sense where Defenders may be walking by at all times. Whenever an R6 Attacker is not using their drone, it will be standing dormant wherever it was last standing. This means making sure that the drone is always in a good hiding spot when not in use.

After placing your Rainbow Six Siege drones in a hiding spot, you will be able to access and control them again through your control screen. If the drone has already been destroyed, you will have the choice to deploy a new one. Otherwise, your R6 Attacker will be standing still as you look through your drone’s camera and move it, so be sure to hide yourself in a good position so as to not get attacked from behind.

When it comes to the drone’s size, this is a great advantage to have when it comes to sneaking around the Defender’s building. Drones can fit through small vents that allow them to quickly travel to different rooms with ease without getting caught. They can also crawl through barricades and jump on a spring to reach hard places.

If you come across your drone, you can pick it up in order to store it for later and redeploy it. Sometimes it can be good to find your drone and launch it again. This is thanks to your R6 Attacker’s throw allowing the drone to reach higher grounds. Once again, drones are all about timing, so make sure to check your surroundings and where your team is before messing with the drones and making yourself vulnerable.

Now there is the drone’s main feature which is its ability to scan. R6 Drones can scan and mark to your team the location of enemies. This can be identified through a red ping over the head of an enemy player for your team to target. This ping is viewable through walls and distance, making it easy to find any enemy. The enemy will also be completely unaware of them being scanned by a drone, making it a sneaky play.

Rainbow Six Siege Drones will also emit different colored lights depending on what they are doing or what is happening to them. Whenever a drone is being used, it will show a small yellow light. However, the R6 drone will show other lights such as blue whenever it is being hacked. This must be treated carefully as it can make it more obvious to Defenders that a drone is nearby.

Another important fact about d Rainbow Six Siege Drones to keep in mind is how much damage they can take. A drone’s defense is little to none at all, as they can be mostly destroyed by just one melee hit or gunshot. This makes it even more important to position your drones well anywhere on the map. However, drones do not take fall damage in order to make it easier for them to travel. Drones can be incredibly useful for any match of Rainbow Six Siege when used correctly in the right situation. Being aware of your drone’s position and when it is the right time to control it is crucial to keeping your drone alive and working well. Drones do well in exploring the building and scouting out enemies to help your teammates navigate and hopefully win the match. Check out the cheap R6 boosting available over at U7BUY!
