Forza Horizon 5 Update Fixes

With the promise of bug fixes and the addition of new features, the latest Forza Horizon 5 update is finally in effect. Let’s dive right into it to see what changes the team has made to the game itself and what that means for dedicated racers like you.

Bug Fixes

We’ve been waiting for the developers to finally do something about the bugs surfacing in the game recently. Thankfully, that’s been addressed by the team in their latest release notes. These vehicular and cosmetic fixes are as below:

  • While enabling Ray Tracing, owners of the 1993 Nissan Skyline GTR and 1995 Nissan GTR LM won’t have to worry about artifacts being visible.
  • Texture issues with the left door of the 2008 Aston Martin DBS have been eliminated.
  • Bumper and wing issues with the 2022 Hyundai Kona Forza Aero as well as the 2022 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS were fixed.
  • Owners of the RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR Pro 4 Truck won’t have to worry about dark alleyways, as their searchlights will shine brighter than the sun now.

Other general fixes were also made, including:

  • The Made in Mexico Story intro video is no longer out of sorts.
  • Performance and stability issues were fixed.

New Eventlab Props

Get your mental gears turning by experimenting with all the new props added to EventLab with the latest update. The standout feature is perhaps the inclusion of the six dinosaur props, allowing you to add a prehistoric touch to your modern-day race tracks. The complete list of newbies is as follows:

  • Five new platforms and ramps were added to each of Asphalt, Dirt, Grass, Ice, and Snow. This wide selection will allow you to truly set the scene for your next big race on your favorite terrain.
  • Get the architect in you to mix and match 40 new shapes, comprising four each of cones, cubes, cuboids, cylinders, pyramids, frustums, spheres, toruses, wedges, and large wedges. All of them come in two variations: concrete and plastic.
  • Giants walk the earth again with 6 new dino props, including Ankylosaurus, Pterodactyl, Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, and the Velociraptor; it’s like the meteor never hit!
  • Finally, a gameplay prop in the form of a Star Trophy.

Rally Adventure

Fans of Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure will be delighted to know that the latest expansion grants access to way more classes—all in fact—for setting lap times on the different stages of Sierra Nueva. So gear up and ride out!

European Automotive Car Pack

Four new beasts have been added to the game in the form of the European Automotive Car Pack. For just 4.99 USD, you can get access to an elite collection including some of Europe’s biggest icons, as featured below. If you don’t want to grind out and purchase these cars yourself, you can always purchase a Forza Horizon 5 modded account.

2021 Bently Continental GT Convertible

This elite ride combines luxury with sheer raw power, as evidenced by its ability to hit 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. When you rev up that engine, you just know everyone’s eyes are on you.

1987 Mercedes-Benz AMG Hammer Wagon

This one truly stands out from the rest, as it is essentially a family wagon fitted with the indomitable power of the Mercedes V8 engine. Leave your opponents in the dust with this deceptively fast car.

2019 Jaguar XE SV Project 8

Next up, we have a British powerhouse equipped with a 5-liter V8 engine that allows it to quickly overtake its opponents—or, should we say, prey? Its raw power does have a tendency to sacrifice control, though, so keep that in mind before equipping this beast.

2020 Automobili Pininfarina Battista

With a top speed of 350 km/h, this revolutionary Italian car will leave rival racers gasping for breath as you speed past them. Safe to say you’ll be racking up a lot of Forza Horizon 5 credits by winning races with this electric-powered monster.

Festival Playlist

Yet another reason to be excited for the update is the new festival playlist. Whether you’re into powerful, classy, or luxury cars, there’s something for everyone this time around, so be sure to accumulate those festival points! The eight cars are as follows:

  • 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500 E
  • 2021 Mercedes-AMG SL 63
  • 2021 Volkswagen ID.4
  • 2022 Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro
  • 1966 Volkswagen Double Cab Pick-Up
  • 1968 Lancia Fulvia Coupé Rallye 1.6 HF
  • 1975 DS 23
  • 2002 Lotus Esprit V8

Let the festivities begin.

Conclusion

It’s safe to say that the developers have been listening to what the fans have to say. Not only have the performance issues been fixed, but the addition of the new dinosaur-themed Eventlab props, elite European cars, and the updated Festival Playlist will keep the fanbase engaged in nonstop racing thrills. If you are new to the franchise, now’s a great time to buy Forza Horizon 5
