Guide To Diablo 4’s Endgame

You finally made it to the end of Diablo 4, but is it really the end? It turns out there’s a ton of stuff to do in Diablo 4, even after you’ve completed the main story. Let’s take a look at some of the most exciting activities on offer.

Fields of Hatred

If you feel like adding a new touch to your wardrobe, put your skills to the test in the Fields of Hatred. One of these can be found in the Dry Steppes region, and the other in Kehjistan.

Your first objective in the fields is to look for the Seeds of Hatred by slaying monsters and the roaming boss in the area. More excitingly, however, you can compete with fellow players while looking for balanced chests! However, you’ll need to be bookmarked for this, and you can do this through the Action Wheel. Watch your back, though, because other players could attack you.

It’s now time to plant those Seeds of Hatred! Head on over to one of the four altars of extraction to convert the seeds into Red Dust, fighting off enemies during the process. Voila, you now have everything you need to upgrade your cosmetics. You can do so at any of the following shops:

  • Odds and Ends Vendor
  • Cursed Scroll Vendor
  • Unsavory Oddities Vendor
  • Unconventional Mount Armor

Tree of Whispers

While this mysterious tree is usually renowned for the curse of knowledge it imparts on its visitors, you can also earn XP and loot by providing it with your services. The idea is simple: once you are done with the main campaign, you’ll get access to a host of timed quests. These involve various figures such as World Bosses, Dungeons, and Seething Abominations.

Completing these quests successfully will give you up to five Grim Favors. As soon as you collect 10, make your way to the tree and cash in to get those goodies! These rewards get significantly better on higher World Tiers, and with Tier 3, you’ll get access to Nightmare Sigils, which in turn allow you to enter Nightmare Dungeons and further upgrade your gear.

Helltide Events

What better way to test your gear than against a horde of demonic invasions? These so-called Helltide events occur occasionally in a random area of the map, represented by a red zone. Once active, make your way to the area and start butchering any enemies you find to earn rewards such as Forgotten Souls and Fiend Roses.

Your main interest, however, will be in the prospect of gaining Aberrant Cinders. This in-game currency allows you to purchase weaponry, protection, and jewelry, among other items. While you might buy Diablo 4 items, this is one feature you can only attain through grit and a lot of shed blood!

Statues of Lilith

You may have thought you had seen the last of Lilith in the final act, but that’s not the case at all. You’re probably yet to visit all 160 of her altars spread across the Fractured Peaks, Scosglen, Dry Steppes, Kehjistan, and Hawezar.

Interacting with these statues can earn you a host of rewards, and the best part? Most of these are shared among all the characters in that realm! These include XP boosts, stat boosts, Murmuring Obols, and Renown. Maxing out your renown in each region gets you a plethora of boosts that are almost necessary to defeat the tougher enemies in the Sanctuary, so you best start looking for those statues!

Endgame Bosses

We saved the best for last. Nothing is more exciting than being able to test your metal in some epic boss fights, and Diablo 4 is no exception with the five new endgame bosses added in season 2. Each of these requires a unique summoning ritual and has specialized abilities, requiring you to adapt accordingly. Understandably so, defeating them earns you handsome rewards. The bosses are as follows:

  • Echo of Varshan (World Tier 3)
  • Beast in Ice (World Tier 4)
  • Lord Zir (World Tier 4)
  • Duriel (World Tier 4)
  • Grigoire (World Tier 3)

As difficult as these boss fights are, they are only a prelude to the Echo of Lilith, a 100-level boss fight requiring you to be at the peak of your abilities. Thus, these should serve as excellent training grounds for your future endeavors.

Conclusion

You won’t feel so lost after the main quest anymore. There’s so much to do in Diablo 4 that you can spend more hours grinding out the above activities than you did in the main story, or you could just purchase Diablo 4 gold for sale, making the grind easier. Pack up your gear, stock up on potions, shine up your armor, and get going because your journey in the Sanctuary has only just begun!
