The Camp Area in Undawn map is probably the safest place for new survivors in Undawn. It is known to be a relatively peaceful valley to give refuge to people. Thanks to its great weather, there is plenty of resources like food, water, and space to make good shelter and farmland. This overall makes it a great area to set up camp as per the name.
One of the newer locations that has been released for Undawn map is Mount Ollie which is right next to the Camp Area. Undawn Mount Ollie is a frozen-over mountain range that contains a plethora of abandoned and iced civilizations to explore. These abandoned towns used to be popular vacation spots, but now they look more like the Ice Age as you fight through the cold to see their landmarks.
Seinz Hills are south of the Camp Area and the Redwood Forest in Undawn map. Similar to the Camp Area, these Undawn hills have a very good and balanced climate that makes it an overall pretty safe place to explore. A special building that can be found here is the Raven’s Shelter. Here you can use their facilities when needed.
Southeast of the Seinz Hills are the desert areas, specifically the Undawn Golden Desert. Deserts of any kind can be extremely difficult to travel in due to their lack of overall resources for survival such as food and especially water, but you may still be able to find some rare and unique stuff. Whenever you are in need to refill your stats, a local motel is nearby for you to take shelter.
To the left of Seinz Hills is a bridge that can lead to both the Lost City and the mysterious Blockade. This Blockade area has a ton of history, as it was originally made as a quarantine area at the beginning of the apocalypse in Undawn. If you manage to make it through here, you will be able to find a ton of medical and food supplies, maybe even free weapons!
Right across continuing west from the Blockade is a remote island called Radiation Island. As the name suggests, the island is incredibly radioactive, making it dangerous for anyone who dares to travel or live there. Just like the Blockade, you can find a ton of supplies here too since the island used to be a popular military base before being racked with radioactivity.
There is actually another island that is much bigger and more beautiful. Just like Mount Ollie, Aurich Island was another popular place for vacation before the apocalypse hit. It has a much more tropical climate, but the island and its resort buildings have become completely deserted and a shell of its former self. However, the island is still a great place to find rare resources and maybe even a still a small vacation away with its sunny beaches.
All of the locations gone over thus far have been ones that only have the main dangers of monsters. However, there are still areas that are ruled by gangs that will not hesitate to attack if you’re against them. For example, the Undawn Lost City has been taken over by the Clown gang. The city is a place where nature has taken over but be sure to watch for the Clowns at every corner.
The Undawn best place to look for some minerals and ores is the Koller Mines. Not only will you be able to travel underground through the many abandoned tunnels everywhere, but this area is also home to the Eagles gang. This Undawn desert area can be very dry and dangerous when not careful, but the ores you can find and make the journey well worth it.
Then there are the Central Plains, which is one of the largest areas on the map of Undawn. There are plenty of resources to be found here when you need them, but it can also be used as a fantastic place to grow crops thanks to its great weather and big space. Just be careful with the Undawn Owl gang around, but otherwise, these plains make for a great way to earn some extra supplies. When it comes to Undawn, knowing where to travel is always key.
