However, do bear in mind that there are a few differences between Super Sus and Among Us, so even if you played the game it is based on, it is still worth reading these top tips, just so you can learn some cool new things too!

Learn the Maps

One of the main differences between Super Sus and Among Us is that you have a lot more maps to play, and they all have unique elements about them. The maps in Super Sus will open slowly. As you complete more games, more maps will become available. More are coming all the time. It is essential that you learn the ins and outs of the map, especially if you are playing as an imposter. The more you know the map, the easier it will be to get your kills.

Learn Your Role

There are a lot of Super Sus roles, and more are being added all the time. Each role will have its own job and special abilities, so you need to know how they work and what they bring to the table. At the time of writing, these are the roles. If you click the link before, you can read more about the Super Sus roles and how they work in the context of the game:

  • Agent: you can see enemies on the map once you’ve completed all your jobs.
  • Detective: you can track down the imposter by following their footprints.
  • Doctor: you can revive dead bodies.
  • Drainer: you can block vents, and it may even kill an imposter inside the vents.
  • Engineer: you can quickly complete a single urgent task, even if you’re nowhere near.
  • Grinch: the imposters will remain convinced you’re an imposter too, so you can be safe around them.
  • Guardian: you can protect other players.
  • Hacker: allows you to see who died and when, plus the colors in each room.
  • Mayor: can save votes until later on.
  • Samurai: can protect other players.
  • Scouts: good at observation.
  • Security: can place remote cameras, perhaps allowing you to spot the imposter.
  • Seer: can see the faction of each crew member.
  • Sheriff: you have a weapon. The only one with a weapon. You can kill the imposter, but you’ll get kicked from the game if you choose wrong.
  • Spacecrew: no skills
  • Time Master: turn back time.
  • Trapper: will report your death if you are eliminated in a vent.
  • Veteran: can shoot somebody who uses a skill on you.
  • Warden: can execute other players.

There are other ‘neutral’ roles, e.g. joker, phantom, arsonist, survivor, etc. Learn them, as they each have their own jobs to complete.

When you master the roles, you’ll learn exactly what you need to do and when. You’ll win more games.

Play the Game

Simple. The more you play the game, the easier it becomes. You’ll find it easier to spot imposters, kill, complete tasks, etc. We don’t think you’ll be any good at Super Sus until you have a few hundred games under your belt.

Watch Other Players

We suggest you head to YouTube and watch a few videos featuring other players. See how they play the game, and perhaps try to copy a little of what they do.

Don’t Be Too Suspicious (If You’re the Imposter)

If you’re the imposter, don’t be too suspicious. This means:

  1. Don’t kill as soon as the game starts.
  2. Make sure nobody is watching when you make a kill. Check for cameras too.
  3. Don’t stalk people.
  4. Look like you are trying to complete tasks.
  5. Don’t be too ‘forceful’ in chats to determine who is the imposter. Protest too much, and people may believe that you’re the imposter.

These Tips Will Help You Get Better At the Game

Follow these tips, and you’ll get better at Super Sus so much faster. You’ll get more from the game, and you’ll have a lot more fun with it.
