Battlefield V is a video game of the first-person shooter genre released in 2018 by EA DICE with EA being its publisher. It is part of the Battlefield series and was released as the eleventh main numbered installment of the series after Battlefield 1. As a direct sequel set in the World War II era, Battlefield V continues many themes set in its World War I predecessor. More specifically, the shooting game was developed for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in November 2018 and is characterized by dramatic fight scenes and large-scale PVP modes.
Although people had various reactions, ranging from mild to very strong negative emotions towards the reveal trailer, Battlefield 5 had a positive reception among the players and critics after its release.
